Party Games That Liven Up Group Dates (21–30)
Stand-up game
People take turns saying numbers one by one.
For example, if there are 8 participants, the numbers go from 1 to 8.
When a number is called, each person chooses to either stand up or stay seated.
If the number you said matches the number of people who stood up, you’re safe.
The person who remains at the end gets a penalty!
Stocking Sumo
It’s that “stocking sumo” you often see on variety shows.
You tie the toes of the stockings together, pull the body part over your head, and have a tug-of-war style sumo match.
It’s not just about looking goofy or making funny faces, so it’s not really recommended for women—your makeup will come off, too.

Stopwatch Game
This is a game where you stop a stopwatch at a pre-decided number of seconds.
Of course, you can’t look, so you play blindfolded or with your eyes closed.
Everyone takes turns recording their times, and once decided, the person whose time is farthest from the target number of seconds loses and gets a penalty.
It’s a game that tests the accuracy of your internal clock!
Smartphone Input Game
It’s a game where you speed-type answers that match a given prompt using your phone’s notes app.
For example, if the prompt is ‘names of birds,’ you type as many different bird names as you can.
You set a time limit, and the person who enters the most answers wins.
You can play it on a feature phone too, not just a smartphone, right?
Slipper relay
As the name suggests, it’s a slipper relay.
Using only your toes, pass the slipper to the person next to you without dropping it.
You must not use your hands.
You also can’t drop the slipper or let it touch the ground.
It’s limited to places where slippers are available, but it’s surprisingly challenging and really gets everyone excited!
Tissue Catch Game
It’s a game where you drop a tissue from a height and try to catch it skillfully with chopsticks.
Players form pairs, splitting into a catching team and an interfering team.
The interfering team fans or blows on the falling tissue to make it move so it’s harder to grab.
The team that catches the most tissues wins.
Do-Re-Mi Song Game
It’s a game where you sing that song that goes, “Do is for donut, do~,” but instead of singing in the order do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do, you point to the next person and call out any scale degree you like.
If the lyrics and the pitch don’t match, it doesn’t count.
Since your brain expects to continue the song in order, matching the pitch rather than the lyrics makes it a tricky game.
