When you think of Children’s Day, many people probably picture carp streamers, right? This time, let’s make a playful toy with a carp streamer motif! You’ll need: toilet paper rolls, red and blue origami paper, paint, gold origami paper cut into eighths, a hole punch, string, glue, and scissors.
Once your carp streamer binoculars are finished, grab them and set off on an adventure!
Pill Bug Made with Paper Plates
Pill bugs are one of the insects that children love.
Their unique trait of curling up into a ball when touched is one of the things that fascinates kids.
Let’s make a pill bug using a paper plate.
First, draw patterns on the paper plate with crayons, then paint over it with black paint.
Enjoy watching how the crayon resists the paint.
Next, cut the paper plate into six equal sections, stack all the small triangles together, punch a hole at the top point, and insert a split pin.
Finally, add the face and legs, and it’s done.

Next, fill the spray bottle with water and spritz it to dampen the tissue paper.
Once it’s dry, remove the tissue paper and use scissors to cut the drawing paper into circles.
