Masuda Bunka

I started playing in bands in high school.

I studied recording and composition in Osaka and London.

I was mainly a guitarist, but I switched instruments due to an injury.

I currently produce tracks for rappers and more.

I also work in translation and writing, focusing on entertainment-related translation such as lyrics and manga, as well as writing on business and philosophy.

I listen widely across genres, both Western and Japanese music.

I like music that makes you want to move your body (or that helps you chill).

I tend to focus especially on lyrics.

I’d love to share deeper ways to enjoy music—like rhyme schemes in English rap and the hidden meanings behind songs.
