Iguchi Nobushinsuke

Born in Chiba Prefecture. Graduated from Ichikawa Nishi High School and Senzoku Gakuen College of Music. After graduation, began working as a freelance double bassist. Also active as a wind band instructor, serving as a clinician for many junior high and high school wind bands in the Kanto region under the theme “Band instruction from a string player’s perspective.” In addition, works as a trainer for amateur orchestras and as a teacher at music schools. Currently an Ensemble Research Fellow at Showa University of Music and a member of Lulotte Orchestra and Brass Exceed Tokyo. Studied double bass under Iwahisa Kuroki, Akihiko Kanno, and Kazumasa Terada. Studied conducting under Toshiu Kawamoto. Hobbies include fishing, cars, and aromatherapy. A self-proclaimed aroma-loving bassist, he holds the Aromatherapy Advisor certification from the Aroma Environment Association of Japan (AEAJ). Articles by the author
