Tamatebako (treasure box)AT-FIELD

A four-piece band formed in 2006 and based in Osaka.
Their appeal lies in music driven by simple, catchy melodies and an exuberantly bright vocal.
This track slips in a ska-like rhythm partway through, and with a sound that feels like it could appear on “Minna no Uta,” it brings a comforting sense of ease.
In conclusion
As you can tell just from giving the songs by the bands we introduced a quick listen, even within so-called melodic hardcore there are many bands that blend in elements from various straightforward genres, and there are plenty of classic mid-tempo tracks as well.
Even now in the 2020s, there are young bands carrying on the spirit of ‘melocore,’ so if this has helped you rediscover its appeal, I’m delighted!
