Brain Dive

This is a mental magic trick using playing cards.
The magician riffles through the deck with their finger and has the spectator watch closely and remember one card.
Then, saying “I’ll do a brain dive,” they use apparent psychic powers to divine the thought-of card.
What’s more, the first card the magician names is actually wrong—but then the picture on the card visibly moves and changes into the remembered card! From the spectator’s perspective, they just happened to catch a glimpse of a single card and kept it in mind, only to have it correctly identified—and then see the card’s face change right before their eyes.
It’s astonishing! Of course, there’s a method behind it: the card is actually being forced by the magician—meaning the choice is controlled—and the moving picture is achieved using a gaffed card.
Ambitious Card

The Ambitious Card, considered a fundamental in card magic, is a popular routine where a signed card is placed into the deck but rises to the top with a snap of the fingers.
Because the Ambitious Card relies heavily on presentation, it’s a card trick that anyone can readily attempt with practice.

Card-guessing mental magic

There are eight playing cards with different numbers and suits.
You think of one card from among them.
Then the magician says he knew in advance that you would choose that card! Is that really true? You turn over the card you chose to find out…
Guess the type and orientation of the coin

Place some imaginary coins in front of you and, using your dominant hand, pick one from among them.
When you toss that coin, it seems to land heads up.
You should have been controlling these imaginary coins entirely by your own will, and yet—what if it had all been foretold? Surprising, isn’t it!
I’ll guess exactly what you chose.

First, you freely choose a word.
Then you pick something related to the word you remembered.
Next, you choose a characteristic of what you remembered.
In this way, various requests are made, and in the end, the first thing you chose is guessed.
How does that happen?! The secret is also revealed, so be sure to check it out!
Magician’s Select

The magician’s select, also known as the magician’s choice, is a technique that subtly steers the outcome of a trick while making the spectator feel they made the decisions themselves.
It’s a form of mental magic where patter and presentation are key, making it perfect for breaking the ice and bringing people closer.
Beyond revealing a chosen card as shown in the video, there are many variations of the magician’s select using different premises, so it can be used in a wide range of situations.
Complete prediction of behavior

Prepare three types of medals and a small bag, and arrange it so that one medal goes to your partner, one to yourself, and one into the bag.
Your partner decides which medal goes where, and the trick is a piece of mental magic in which you correctly guess which medal they placed in each location.
