A sheet with nine squares, each marked differently, was prepared.
Starting from the center square, you move to any adjacent square up, down, left, or right.
Then, squares other than the one you chose are eliminated one by one.
Eventually, you’re forced into a single spot.
And what if it was known from the very beginning exactly where you’d end up?!
Mental magic using numbers
This is mental magic that uses a number trick.
Using nine playing cards makes it look like you’re really performing magic, which is nice.
You randomly write numbers from the cards into a grid, but in the end, it mysteriously always adds up to that specific number—an intriguing number game.
Mentalism Magic Axis
Prepare cards labeled with the digits 1 through 9 and a sheet of paper divided into a 3×3 grid.
Randomly choose cards and write the digits on the paper to form three three-digit numbers.
At this point, write down a certain number on the paper as a prediction.
Next, from each of the three three-digit numbers, select one digit at a time.
In the end, you will form another set of three three-digit numbers, and when you add these three numbers together, the result will match the number written as the prediction.

Wadded Paper Mental Magic
This is a magic trick you can do right away using scrap paper or old newspapers.

Guess the name of your first crush!
It’s a magic trick where you correctly name someone’s first crush even after tearing up and burning the paper on which they wrote the name, making it impossible to see.
The key is to prepare the paper with guiding lines and creases; this gimmick controls where the spectator writes the name.
From there, you proceed to tear the paper, place the pieces in an ashtray, and burn them with a lighter.
During the tearing and the action of taking out the lighter, you secretly retrieve the central portion of the paper where the name is written.
After burning the remaining paper, you simply read the retrieved piece and announce the name.
Be mindful of your gaze and hand angles so that the retrieval isn’t detected.
Mental Photographer
Prepare a blank white deck of cards with no faces.
When you ask the spectator to imagine a red card, a card with a red face appears among the previously all-white cards.
Then a card with a black face appears as well, and by the end, the entire deck has faces—this is the magic trick.
