The cracker game with a satisfying pop is an activity the whole family can enjoy.

It’s easy to make, so the crafting time is fun for parents and kids, too.

Cover a cylindrical snack box with origami paper and use an awl to make a hole in the center of the bottom.

Thread a rubber band through the hole from inside the box, then secure it with a toothpick.

Wrap aluminum foil around the other end of the rubber band.

Make a total of eight evenly spaced holes near the top of the box, and insert bamboo skewers through them to finish.

Be sure to thread the rubber band onto one of those skewers.

Turn the box upside down, place a pom-pom on top, and the game begins! It’s fun to guess which skewer to pull to make the pom-pom pop.

♫ Original Song – Hidaka Tokushukai Hospital – Hidaka Tokushukai Hospital

It’s a game where you convey shapes using only words.

If communication goes well and the correct shape is completed at the end, you’ll likely feel a sense of accomplishment.

The person conveying describes the shape verbally.

The person drawing prepares paper and pen and draws the shape exactly as they hear it.

It may seem simple, but expressing what you see using only words is actually quite difficult.

And drawing a shape relying solely on what you hear, without visual cues, is also a tough challenge.

The moment when everyone reveals the shapes they drew at the end is sure to be exciting! It’s a game that spectators can enjoy together as well.

C game

[Nakamachi Siblings] A C-Game You'll Definitely Get Hooked On
C game

The family-favorite “C Game” is a fun game that gets everyone laughing whether you nail the answer or not.

The rules are simple: just like the name suggests, you look for and say words that end with “C,” pronounced “shii” in Japanese.

For example: oishii (delicious), tanoshii (fun), vitamin C, and so on.

Before your answer, add a related lead-in like “If it’s XX, then…” or “As for XX, …,” and take turns responding.

If you can keep the rhythm, you’re safe and it moves to the next person.

Any number of people can join, so why not enjoy it with your family?

Here’s something you can enjoy with your mom along with a cheerful song.

The song is like a little story: until the story starts to unfold, you repeat the motion of clapping your own hands once and then touching one hand at a time with the person facing you.

After that, follow the lyrics—put your hands together to make a sprout, let it swell, and open them like a flower.

Finish the song with a round of rock-paper-scissors.

Both the lyrics and the movements are simple, so people of any age can enjoy it easily together.

Be sure to try singing and playing it with your mom on Mother’s Day.

Inside-out pots!

Inside-out pots!

Here’s a playful activity you can enjoy while holding hands with Mom.

The two of you hold both hands to make a ring.

At the end of the song, following the lyrics, turn to face outward while keeping your hands clasped.

Make one of your joined hands into a tunnel, and each of you passes your head through it—you’ll flip around.

While the song is playing until the flip, swing your arms briskly left and right.

After flipping, keep swinging your arms to the same song, and at the end, flip again in the same way to return to your original position.

Soap bubble play

[Soap Bubbles] Let’s make and enjoy different kinds of soap bubbles!
Soap bubble play

Let’s spend a delightful Mother’s Day enjoying a relaxing bubble-blowing time outdoors! In addition to classic options like straw types and ones similar to the scoops used for goldfish scooping, there are many store-bought varieties such as electric gun-style models and ones with lots of holes.

It’s also fun to make your own tools, like shaping pipe cleaners or strings into loops, or bundling together short-cut pieces of straw.

You can even make bubble solution by mixing lukewarm water with laundry starch (liquid glue), dish soap, and sugar.

Try it in whatever style you like and have fun!

Plastic Bottle Concentration

Do you know an easy game you can make from scrap materials? PET bottle Concentration (matching game) #IndoorPlayAtHome #IndoorPlay #shorts
Plastic Bottle Concentration

Let’s enjoy an easy and fun game of Concentration using plastic bottle caps.

First, gather many caps of the same shape and stick round labels on the inside of each one.

Write numbers on the labels in order starting from 1, making sure there are two of each number.

Once all the caps are prepared, flip them over so the numbers aren’t visible and line them up—ready to play.

Since you simply flip caps and try to find matching numbers, even small children can play easily, and it’s a highly recommended game you can enjoy again and again with little effort!
