Fun activities for Mother's Day. Recreational games (31–40)
Beigoma (spinning top)

It’s a traditional spinning top game.
You spin a metal top, and the winner is the one who stops the opponent’s spin or knocks them out of the ring.
It takes practice to learn how to wind the string, but once you get the hang of it, you can enjoy some intense matches.
It’s also fun to compare the different designs of the beigoma tops.
Plastic Bottle Bowling

It’s a game where you line up plastic bottles filled with water and roll a ball to hit them, competing to see how many you can knock down.
Since you only have to roll the ball, even children and older adults can give it a try.
You can adjust the difficulty by changing the size of the bottles and the way you arrange them.
Sevens (card game)

It’s a card game using a standard deck.
The basic rule is to play cards in order that are adjacent in number to the one currently on the table.
It’s a very simple game, so the rules are easy to understand, and if you play with young children, it can also help them learn numbers.
Werewolf game

How about trying the popular game Werewolf? It’s a deduction game where you guess who the werewolves are hiding among the villagers.
The only clues are conversations.
Everyone discusses and narrows down who the werewolf might be.
Of course, the werewolf side will act so they don’t get found out.
It’s a thrilling, brainy psychological battle.
Telephone game

It’s a game where players pass along a prompt in order, trying to convey the words accurately all the way to the last person.
You can simply guess “what was said,” or you can turn the prompt into a question and have the last person give the answer to that question, which is also fun.
There’s also a fun variation where players draw pictures to pass the message along—an illustration-based telephone game.
