Nationwide Camp-In Festivals [2026] Outdoor Festival List

THE STAR FESTIVAL takes place at a campground in Nantan City, Kyoto Prefecture, so it’s a music festival where you can of course camp. A new experiential outdoor festival produced by the team behind ONE MUSIC CAMP, one of Kansai’s flagship open-air festivals, is coming soon. Built around the concept of offering a special outdoor festival experience unlike your usual weekend, you can enjoy not only live music, but also delicious food, outdoor activities, and workshops at a venue rich in natural beauty. The site is about an hour away by public transport from Kobe or Osaka, making it easy for families to attend. How about spending a fulfilling holiday together, stretching out and relaxing in an open, spacious setting?

WILD BUNCH FEST. began in 2013 as the successor to SET STOCK, a music festival held in Hiroshima for ten years starting in 1999. One especially striking feature of WILD BUNCH is the small stage called “On the Sea,” which floats on the water in a small cove-like area within the venue and is used only for the closing act. Since it’s the closing act, the surroundings are fully dark by then, making the live performance on the tiny stage floating on the sea a must-see. Also, last year a campsite was set up inside the venue, allowing attendees to stay overnight from day one to day two, which is another highlight.

This event, organized by HY from Okinawa, began in 2011 with the theme of creating a place where children can find their dreams and a place that connects families. The activities prepared for children have grown richer every year, and around the main stage for live performances, there are a variety of attractions such as magic shows, athletics, and workshops that families can enjoy together. In the food area, popular Okinawan eateries gather in kitchen cars, letting you savor local flavors—which is a real treat. Camping is also available, making it a highly recommended event for families.
