[2026] Guide to Music Festivals and Outdoor Events in Hokkaido and the Tohoku Region

Japan Music Summit is a nationwide, corporate-participation music festival that explores the role of music in addressing social issues. Artists and creators of diverse scales and genres take the stage, aiming to re-envision the appeal of music through collaborations and interactive audience programs. In 2026, it will be held at two venues in Miyagi Prefecture: Kesennuma City and the Akiu area of Sendai City. The Kesennuma performance will feature young musicians at the community hall inside the commercial facility “Taku (Hirakeru).”
