jeen-yuhs: A Kanye West Trilogy

This is a documentary that traces the journey of Kanye West—who performs under the name Ye—toward success as a great rapper, using footage that recorded his activities.
The perspective of the filmmaker who handled his early music videos is particularly striking, and the film looks back not only on his musical work but also on the casual, everyday moments.
The fact that such detailed footage from that time was carefully preserved also conveys that Coodie, who is the director of this work, must have sensed something special.
Because the film focuses on showing the person himself so closely, it may also deepen the emotional impact of the live performance scenes that are interspersed throughout.
tick, tick… BOOM!: Tick, Tick… Boom!
