Origami Pokémon! A collection of simple and cute character ideas (1–10)
Easy with a single card! Pikachu & EeveeNEW!

Pikachu, a figure that could be called the very symbol of Pokémon! Get some yellow origami paper and let’s fold it.
First, fold it in half vertically to make a crease and open it, then fold both sides in toward that crease.
Next, fold it in half from the other direction to make a crease and open it, then fold only one side in toward that crease and open it again.
Using the creases you’ve made, form a boat-like shape.
On the side where you didn’t make the boat, fold a small section upward, and round off the outline’s corners to finish.
If you switch the origami color to a brown tone, it can become Eevee, too! Flip it to the front and use a pen or round stickers to draw Pikachu’s and Eevee’s faces.
How to Make an Easy Wobbuffet (Origami)NEW!

Wobbuffet, with its memorable cry of “Wobbuffet!”, has a name that’s just the same.
Prepare light blue origami paper, first fold it into a triangle twice, changing the orientation, and leave it folded into a triangle for now.
Open it while leaving a little in the center, flip it over, and fold both ends toward the center.
Flip it over again and fold both ends toward the center to make a long, slender body.
Make a small cut in the middle and open it outward to form the legs.
Finally, fold the corners of the head area, and your Wobbuffet is complete.
Be sure to draw its distinctive face, too!
How to fold a cute PoliwagNEW!

Poliwag, the Tadpole Pokémon, is known for the swirl on its belly.
Once you have blue origami paper, first fold it into a triangle twice and open it to make an X-shaped crease.
Fold both ends toward the center twice, then flip it over.
From one of the pointed ends, fold once toward the center, align with the crease and fold—repeat this entire process three times, and finally fold up along the second crease you made.
Fold the opposite corner to make it an even longer, slimmer point and flip it over, then fold it in half and fold it up slightly at a diagonal.
After that, just fold the corners, and you’re done! Draw Poliwag’s face and the swirl on its belly to finish.
So cute! MinccinoNEW!

Chillarmy, a cute Pokémon that looks just like a chinchilla.
Prepare gray origami paper and make each part separately.
For the face, use one 15 cm × 15 cm sheet; for the ears, two 7.5 cm × 7.5 cm sheets; for the bangs, one 3.75 cm × 3.75 cm sheet; for the body, one 15 cm × 7.5 cm sheet; for the tail, one 7.5 cm × 7.5 cm sheet; and for the hands, one 7.5 cm × 7.5 cm sheet, which you’ll cut in half.
Take one of those halves and cut it in half again to make the feet.
Fold each part and glue them together, then finish by drawing Chillarmy’s cute face! Be careful not to lose the small parts.
How to fold Captain PikachuNEW!

Captain Pikachu, the captain of the Rising Volt Tacklers, can amazingly be made from a single sheet of origami—hat included! Prepare a yellow sheet of origami paper.
First, fold it into a triangle twice, then open it once.
From the large corner, fold halfway toward the parallel edge to make a crease.
Fold from the long edge to that crease, then fold again to the new crease.
Fold both ends toward the center, then fold down slightly at an angle to form the ears.
Turn it over and make the hat in the area between the ears.
Cut a slit between the hat and the face, and trim the corners of each to finish.
Don’t forget to draw Captain Pikachu’s gallant face and the hat’s pattern!
No scissors needed! How to fold MimikyuNEW!

Mimikyu is known for its distinctive look of wearing a tattered cloth like Pikachu.
Let’s fold it using slightly duller yellow origami than Pikachu! First, fold in half vertically and open to make a crease.
Fold both edges toward the crease, then fold in half from the opposite direction as well.
Using the new crease, fold one edge toward the center to create another crease.
Open it up along the creases to form a boat-like shape.
Fold one end upward and slightly lower the other end to create the ears.
On the side opposite the ears, fold upward to make a step in the center, then create a pinch between the face and the body, and spread the bottom out like the hem of a skirt.
Finally, draw Mimikyu’s face and you’re done! Since it can be made without scissors, it’s recommended even for small children.
An easy way to fold a puddingNEW!

A Jigglypuff who sings a mysterious song that makes everyone fall asleep! Prepare pink origami paper, and first fold it in half both ways to make a cross-shaped crease.
Fold both sides toward the center, then from the opposite direction also fold both ends toward the center.
Fold all four corners into triangles toward the center, then open up the triangles you just folded and the sections folded before that.
Using the many creases you’ve made, shape it into something like two boats.
Hold it so the pointed ends are at the top and bottom; open the top to make the ears, and tuck the bottom in small to make the feet.
Turn it over, and fold down the area between the ears.
Finally, draw the face, and your cute, round-looking Jigglypuff is complete.
