Many people get startled when they feel a sudden zap of static electricity.
If you want to prank someone like that, shock-gag items are recommended.
These days, shops often sell things like shock pens and fake-but-realistic shock smartphones, so getting ready shouldn’t be a problem.
If you make one yourself, be careful to avoid injury.
A makeup prank while someone’s sleeping
There are people who, once they fall asleep, sleep so soundly that they won’t wake up no matter how much you try, right? This is a prank that plays on the fact that Ayumi Hamasaki was affectionately known as “Ayu,” by showing a different “Ayu” and enjoying the reaction.
It’s best to pull on people who watched her in real time; the more excited they are, the bigger the disappointment.
The setup is to say you’re going to show “Ayu’s live footage,” then show a nature video about the fish ayu (sweetfish).
It’s funny because the wording isn’t technically wrong.
Since it’s a pun-based prank, it really tests the strength of the reaction, and it’s likely to make the target squirm.
Prank: Wedge 100 rubber chickens in a door
The yellow chicken you see at variety stores.
It’s popular as a toy for kids and pets, but it’s incredibly loud.
The shrill “Waaah!” sound it makes is enough to make you laugh.
Using this for a prank—its quirky look alone would make for a great prank moment!
App ‘Horror Prank Recording’
It’s a prank using a smartphone app! This app, called “Scary Prank Filming,” starts by having the target look at the screen under the pretense of a face-reading feature.
But just a few seconds later, a terrifying image pops up along with a scary sound.
Naturally, the target will be caught off guard and jump, but here’s where the app really gets fun: it actually records a video of their startled reaction! It’s not much fun for the person who gets pranked, but it’s a prank everyone can laugh about together.
