Happy endingOhtaki Eiichi

It’s a hugely popular drama starring Takuya Kimura and Takako Matsu.
At the time, I didn’t know Eiichi Ohtaki, but his memorable, wonderful voice—and the fact that I was hooked on the drama—made me listen to the song over and over.
His soft voice resonates in the chest, making it a very easy song to listen to.
School HeavenKoizumi Kyoko

This was the theme song for the 1989 TV drama “Aishiatterukai!” The original is a song by Finger 5, but the version sung by Kyoko Koizumi is just as famous as the original.
It’s a very fun track with great call-and-response.
OH MY LITTLE GIRLOzaki Yutaka

It’s the theme song for the 1994 TV drama “Kono Yo no Hate” (The End of the World).
Originally an album track, it was released as a single to tie in with the drama and became a hit again.

Endless skyarashi

This is Arashi’s 34th single, which also served as the theme song for the Monday 9 p.m.
drama “Freeter, Ie o Kau” starring Kazunari Ninomiya.
In 2010, they achieved the remarkable feat of releasing six singles in one year.
It might be a bit of a cliché to say it’s very Ninomiya-like, but it’s gentle, and the chorus is powerful—it really grabs the listener’s heart.
Even if you haven’t seen the drama, listening to this will make you want to watch it!
wailing in griefKudō Shizuka

A song with lyrics by Miyuki Nakajima and composition by Tsugutoshi Goto.
It was released in February 1993 and was also used as the theme song for the drama “Ano Hi ni Kaeritai,” which began airing in April of the same year.
Shizuka Kudo both performed the theme song and starred in the drama, showcasing how active she was at the time.
The piece is characterized by lyrics that delicately yet powerfully depict unrequited love and complex human relationships.
It conveys the strength of a protagonist striving to overcome the pain of heartbreak.
Combined with Kudo’s deeply emotive vocals, it’s a track that resonates profoundly with listeners.
It may be the perfect song for those troubled by romantic issues or struggling with interpersonal relationships.
Eiichi Ohtakishiawasena ketsumatsu

One of Eiichi Ohtaki’s signature songs, which drew huge attention as the theme for the massively popular “Getsuku” Monday 9 p.m.
drama Love Generation starring Takuya Kimura and Takako Matsu.
If you watched the show, hearing this track might bring back, as if it were yesterday, the heart‑pounding push-and-pull of their romance.
The lyrics, which exquisitely portray the ever-shifting feelings of a grown woman in love, are superb.
You could even interpret them to suggest that the two met for the sake of a happy ending—how did you hear it? Ohtaki’s song “Let’s Begin with a Happy End” was also used as an insert song in the drama and became a hit.
Highly recommended as well!
Real voiceayaka

It was a drama about falling in love with a cool older woman.
The song resonates with working women.
Even when things get tough and you end up spinning your wheels alone, listening to it at times like that is really calming.
It’s a cheer song, so it lifts your spirits.
