[Happy!!] Psychedelic Trance Masterpieces: Recommended Popular Tracks (1–10)
BoombayaPitch Bend

Pitchbend’s classic track “Boombaya.” Although the artist has a small discography, anyone who loves electronic music has probably heard this song.
It’s quintessential Goa—textbook psychedelic trance that keeps building from the intro all the way to the end, packed with everything that makes trance so compelling.
If you enjoy deeply immersive psytrance or are a fan of Goa, be sure to check it out.
Na Na NaTandava

Tandava’s masterpiece “Na Na Na.” Tandava refers to a Hindu deity, and all of his tracks incorporate elements of Hindu music.
In “Na Na Na,” those characteristics are on full display—especially at the beginning, where Hindu musical elements are emphasized.
It’s crafted as a highly immersive psychedelic trance track, so if you’re into psytrance with strong Goa influences or full-on psy, this is a must-check!
Deep Jungle WalkAstrix

Astrix is a key figure you can’t leave out when talking not only about dark psy, but psychedelic trance as a whole.
If you listen to electronic music, you’ve probably come across his name at least once.
He keeps dropping hit tunes, and he’s scored successes across a variety of genres.
Deep Jungle Walk is one of his signature dark psy tracks, a piece defined by its memorable, ear-catching drop and its tightly woven dark atmosphere.
LSDHallucinogen

Simon Posford, the composer known under the moniker Hallucinogen, is a figure in psychedelic trance.
While he’s renowned for crafting sharp, high-quality psytrance, he also has some darkpsy tracks.
Among them, the one I especially recommend is “LSD.” It’s a famous track, and many of you may recognize its intro.
It can be taken as a psychedelic trance piece as well, so it’s recommended for those who want a lighter, more accessible taste of darkpsy.
RadioX-Dream

When people hear “dark psy,” many probably imagine a gothic sound.
It’s true that a lot of dark psy tracks have that kind of tone, but some works retain strong elements of its origin genre, psychedelic trance.
A prime example of such a piece is ‘Radio.’ It’s a masterpiece that blends the awakening, quintessentially psytrance melodies with a perfectly dark sound.
