[Middle School Students] Ranking of Easy-to-Sing Western Songs for Karaoke [2026]

The key to choosing songs at karaoke is whether they’re easy for the singer to perform, right?

This time, I’ll introduce some easy-to-sing English-language karaoke songs that have been popular with junior high school students so far.

I hope you find it helpful!

These picks are sure to get everyone pumped up.

[Middle School Students] Western Songs That Are Easy to Sing at Karaoke Ranking [2026] (81–90)

Ruts (Wadachi)Kobukuro81rank/position

“Rut/Wadachi,” an up-tempo song that fills listeners with excitement, was released in 2001 and is also included on the indie-era album “Root of my mind.” Its lyrics encourage you when times are tough and give you strength to move forward toward tomorrow, offering real courage.

One reason it’s easy to sing is its catchy, easy-to-remember melody.

It also has a great groove and is fun to belt out together with people around you, so even those not used to karaoke can enjoy singing it with everyone!

Saucy Dog is a band that enjoys overwhelming support from young people.

When you think of Saucy Dog, their high-pitched vocals are striking, right? Because of that, many people feel their songs are difficult.

That’s why I recommend their new track, “Kusege.” For a Saucy Dog song, this one falls into the category of having a fairly narrow vocal range.

Of course, since the vocalist’s voice is high, it might not sound that way, but if you adjust the key to suit yourself, anyone should be able to sing it smoothly.

Singer-songwriter Yuka, whose stylish musicality evokes the essence of Western pop—thanks in part to having spent her childhood overseas—has made a strong impression.

If you’re in your teens or twenties, there’s a good chance you already know her.

Among her songs, the one I especially recommend is “sugar.” It features a delicate sound and vocal line reminiscent of 1990s Western rock.

That said, “Western-inspired” doesn’t mean it’s difficult.

It actually sounds better if you don’t sing too perfectly—keep it loose—so give that a try for reference.

Tatsuya Kitani is a male singer-songwriter who enjoys overwhelming support from young people.

If you’re a junior high school student, regardless of gender, you’ve probably heard his songs at least once.

His new track, “Nakushimono,” features a bouncy, neo-soul-leaning, black-inflected groove, but shifts into orthodox J-pop when it hits the chorus.

There’s a falsetto part right before the chorus, and if you find that section difficult, I recommend adjusting the key so you can sing it in mix voice.

An artist who has been active for many years with distinctive lyrics and melodies, Naotaro Moriyama.

When it comes to his vocals, most people probably picture his unique falsetto, right? It’s true that many of his songs use falsetto, which can make them hard to sing for those who aren’t confident singers.

However, Akane is different.

Among Moriyama’s works, it’s unusually narrow in vocal range and unfolds at a gentle pace.

For anyone who finds singing difficult, it couldn’t be easier to sing—so be sure to check it out.
