GOING TO THE MOONTRICERATOPS1rank/position

A TRICERATOPS track distinguished by its exhilarating, fast-paced guitar intro.

Its powerful rock sound and heartfelt lyrics are captivating.

Centered on themes of personal identity and the challenge of facing the future, the song gives listeners courage.

Released in May 1999 as their eighth single, it was also featured in a Pocari Sweat commercial that same year.

The song is included on the album “A FILM ABOUT THE BLUES.” This work is recommended for anyone who wants to keep moving toward their dreams and goals.

It’s guaranteed to get the crowd going live, so be sure to enjoy it together with everyone if you attend a TRICERATOPS concert.

This is the memorable debut single by TRICERATOPS, released in July 1997! Beyond the fresh, sweet vocals and melody of Wada—then in his early twenties—and the charming lyrics that straightforwardly express a love that’s so quintessentially Wada, the tight three-piece band ensemble was remarkably mature for newcomers.

In particular, the danceable groove in the chorus, with its off-beat emphasis, showcases the very essence of “danceable rock.” Starting with this track to step into TRICERATOPS’s music might be the best choice.

As a side note, the song first appeared on their self-titled mini-album, which was a Tower Records exclusive, and that version was recorded a half-step higher than the single—something fans will definitely want to check out.

FEVERTRICERATOPS

It’s a danceable, supremely melodious, and pop masterpiece on par with the later smash hit “GOING TO THE MOON”! With drums that incorporate a four-on-the-floor disco beat, a bass line that drives the groove, a catchy guitar riff, and sweet vocals and melodies…

as a quintessential early Triceratops number, it’s a killer tune that absolutely ignites the crowd live.

Interestingly, when this song was released as their sixth single in 1998, it didn’t achieve much success.

Considering that their subsequent classic second album, “THE GREAT SKELETON’S MUSIC GUIDE BOOK,” became a hit, I remember thinking at the time that this track deserved to chart higher.

I GO WILDTRICERATOPS4rank/position

It’s a short song of about three minutes, but the lingering attachment to love seeps through.

Still, there’s no cloying heaviness; from the very first verse, its catchy melody draws listeners in.

It conveys a message of wanting to protect the one you love.

If you’ve had a fight with your girlfriend, this might be a good song to send her.

The repeated chorus lyrics are so infectious you’ll find yourself humming along.

MIRRORTRICERATOPS5rank/position

The intro guitar in “MIRROR” is awesome—the distortion really hits, giving it tons of power.

Be sure to check out the guitar solo that starts around the 5-minute mark.

In a word: cool.

For guitarists, it’s a great study in tone shaping and technique.

“MIRROR” has a charming sound with a touch of nostalgia—it gently stays by your side.

The CaptainTRICERATOPS6rank/position

This is the band’s 20th single, released in 2005, and it was also included on their seventh album, THE 7TH VOYAGE OF TRICERATOPS.

True to TRICERATOPS, who have said they value riffs, the guitar’s sharp, cutting-edge sound pierces the ear and leaves a strong impression.

It was the lead single from the much-anticipated album, which arrived three months after their previous release.

Ride the rocket Live!!! TRICERATOPS
On a rocketTRICERATOPS

The intro starts off like a rocket blasting out.

As expected of TRICERATOPS.

The perfectly titled “Ride the Rocket” unfolds a story right before your eyes: “Hop on the rocket, let’s set off—just the two of us, bursting into space.” The drums, guitar, and bass deliver a powerful, steady performance, and the vocals riding on top invite you into the cosmos.
