UNICORN Popular Song Ranking [2026] (11–20)
A town where it snowsUNICORN15rank/position

Amid the hectic year-end bustle, this is a wonderful winter song with the laid-back feel so characteristic of Tamio Okuda.
Like Christmas, its sparkling sound really evokes the season, doesn’t it? It’s also famous for having been covered by PUFFY around their debut, and apparently this song was what sparked Okuda’s connection with Yosui Inoue.
Hystery-MysteryUNICORN16rank/position

Released in October 1987, this song is included on UNICORN’s debut album, “BOOM,” and is considered their debut track since it appears first on the album.
UNICORN is one of the rock bands that had a major impact on the Japanese music scene in the 1990s.
Even after their temporary breakup in 1993, vocalist Tamio Okuda continued to be active as a solo singer.
In 2009, the band officially announced their reunion.
Kakima Z!UNICORN17rank/position

This song was improvised and performed by Unicorn to fit the theme when they appeared as guests on TV Asahi’s music variety show “Kanjam Kanzen SHOW.” Watching them create something from zero to one, and then gradually build it up to a hundred, is nothing short of impressive! It’s included in the 2017 release “Album Non-Included Tracks Collection UC30: Rejuvenated Labor Remastered.” A must-listen!
OH! MY RADIOUNICORN18rank/position

The classic rock ’n’ roll sound is really cool.
It’s a song by Unicorn, the rock band led by Tamio Okuda.
It was released as a single in 2018.
The refreshing melody is lovely, too.
I recommend Tamio Okuda’s songs because they’re all easy to sing.
bluesUNICORN19rank/position

“Blues” by Unicorn is a single released in 1991.
It’s a labor anthem written and composed by drummer Koichi Kawanishi, and it has a somewhat ethnic vibe.
The relaxed, reassuring sound combined with Tamio Okuda’s low vocals creates a uniquely pleasant feel.
It’s irresistibly rich in Unicorn’s signature playfulness and melancholy.
Although it’s a very popular song, it’s a rare track that wasn’t included on any original album.
Tamio Okuda himself liked “Blues” and frequently performed it at his solo shows.
Ninja LockUNICORN20rank/position

Included on the 1994 album “THE VERY RUST OF UNICORN.” A five-piece rock band from Hiroshima Prefecture formed in 1986.
It’s a distinctive number that fuses a driving, up-tempo, powerful rhythm and a straightforward rock sound sprinkled with doo-wop elements, all delivered with intriguingly enigmatic lyrics.

The Tale of Isamu TeshimaUNICORN21rank/position

This is a song inspired by Unicorn’s guitarist, Isamu Teshima.
The vocals are also performed by Teshima, and the lyrics, delivered in the Hiroshima dialect, relentlessly blast out his personal creed and way of life.
Unicorn has been active for many years as a band representing Hiroshima, so we can’t take our eyes off what they’ll do next.
