She was also the wife of guitarist Makoto Ayukawa; together they formed the band and debuted with Tears on the Highway.

Their first stage appearance was as the opening act for Elvis Costello, and from then on they performed live tirelessly without a break, sharing the allure of rock.

Her powerful, sultry voice was wonderful.

Although she passed away on February 14, 2015, Sheena’s soulful performances, born from her love of rock, will live on in our hearts forever.
