This is the “Masterpiece J-POP Music Box Medley.” It’s a collection where many familiar J-POP classics can be enjoyed as soothing music box pieces—twice the delight in one.
Music boxes are said to contain ultrasonic frequencies above 20 kHz that humans can’t perceive as sound, and these are believed to have calming effects such as promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and boosting immunity.
But you know, sometimesimase

It’s a song filled with a warm, enveloping gentleness.
imase’s soft vocals gently remind those of us living busy lives of the importance of taking a breather.
Released in July 2022, it was also featured as the CM song for JT’s “Hitoiki Shukan” series.
imase’s first live-action music video for the track also drew attention.
It’s the perfect song for anyone feeling worn out by the daily rush.
Like looking up at the sky between buildings, why not pause for a moment and take a deep breath? Your heart is sure to feel lighter.
Homeayaka

“Home” is a ballad by singer-songwriter Ayaka, featuring gentle, comforting piano.
Fast, flowing piano phrases can be great, but the key to this song is its slow, simple lines.
That simplicity lets Ayaka’s clear, translucent voice stand out, drawing you in.
She’s also known for her beautiful falsetto in signature songs like “Mikazuki,” and it’s used effectively here as well.
Its soft timbre pairs exquisitely with the quiet piano.
Also noteworthy is how the arrangement gradually adds instruments like strings, acoustic guitar, and bass as the song progresses.
Soothing, heart-calming music. Beautiful, relaxing vocals (91–100)
Someone Like YouAdele

When you want to relax, don’t you find yourself preferring a solid, resonant voice over a piercing one? The voice of the British singer-songwriter Adele has a rich, low resonance—like a cello or double bass—that makes it very soothing to listen to.
Among her songs, a particular recommendation is “Someone Like You.” It tells the story of a heartbroken woman who hears that her ex is getting married and says, “I’ll find someone like you.” It’s a track carried solely by piano and Adele’s voice.
