Remioromen’s classic and popular songs
We’d like to introduce some songs by Remioromen, a band that became hugely popular thanks to drama theme songs and more.
Tracks like “Konayuki” and “March 9” are truly masterpieces filled with emotion that move listeners to the core.
As for the origin of the band’s name, “Remioromen,” it’s said the members connected words they came up with in the order they won at rock-paper-scissors.
“Remioromen” just has such a nice ring to it—you can’t help wanting to say it over and over (lol).

Remioromen’s classic and popular songs (21–30)
morning gloryRemioromen
I think it’s a song for hot summer days, but the rhythm doesn’t feel like that stifling wind that blows on a summer day—it feels more like something that eases the heat in a pleasant way.
When I thought about why, I realized it might be because it’s a song about a summer morning.
After all, morning glories only bloom in the morning.
After the rainRemioromen
I really love the rhythm.
When it’s raining, I feel gloomy and weighed down—like maybe it’ll just keep raining and never stop.
But of course, there’s no such thing as rain that never ends.
And after the rain, the scenery is so beautiful, as if it washes everything clean.
I think this song makes me feel the same way as when I see that post-rain world.
Remioromen’s Best and Most Popular Songs (31–40)
43168Remioromen

A rock song released in 2004 by Remioromen.
The B-melody and chorus use chord strumming, so they aren’t very difficult, but from the opening line through the A-melody, the arpeggio technique—playing broken chords—requires careful execution.
Since the tempo is slow, once you’ve learned it well, it’s a song that even beginners can play confidently.

Mr.
Fujimaki, who is singing this song, is really cool.
He captivates you with his powerful singing voice.
He really makes you feel how talented he is.
The lyrics are great too, and I love the chorus of this song—it has a very gently swaying feel that’s so pleasant.
I think it’s kind of cute, too.
MONSTERRemioromen
I think this song is about the darkness—the monster—inside every human heart.
Monsters aren’t necessarily scary things; they can be feelings like loneliness or pain.
Those feelings can turn into monsters that attack our joy and happiness.
That’s why I want to be loved so I won’t become like that.
It’s a song that makes me feel that way.
Starting OverRemioromen

The singing voice is great and really cool.
That lower tone at the beginning is irresistibly cool.
The lyrics are straightforward, so it’s easy to get emotionally drawn in.
Even after some time has passed, it’s still a really good song when I listen again.
It also feels good to sing.
TomorrowRemioromen

These days, I’ve come to feel like “tomorrow” equals gloom, but this song changes that.
Knowing there’s a tomorrow—though it’s full of unknowns and honestly really scary—makes me realize that all those tomorrows, stacked one after another, will give me something irreplaceable.
