All of the YouthFujifaburikku

A masterpiece by Fujifabric that you can’t help but want to listen to at the end of summer.
The beautiful piano sound is striking.
Since the song is built on a simple chord progression, it might be a good one to try as a guitar-vocal, too.
Highly recommended for bands with a keyboard player.
Perfect-Sense DreamerONE OK ROCK

Among the Japanese rock scene, ONE OK ROCK’s signature song “Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer” is especially popular.
Some of you reading this might be thinking, “Isn’t that super hard!?”—but the guitar parts are actually simpler than you’d expect.
With an octave-riff and an A verse that uses variations of left-hand chord shapes, it’s a perfect song for beginner guitarists looking to move to the next level.
Since the tempo is fast, I recommend practicing at a slower speed until you’re comfortable so your chord changes and right-hand strumming don’t fall behind.
RewriteASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION

It was used as the opening theme for season 4 of the MBS/TBS anime Fullmetal Alchemist.
There are some tricky phrases here and there, but overall it’s a relatively easy song.
If you like ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, this is the first track I recommend.

My Past Life, Many Lifetimes AgoRADWIMPS

It’s a masterpiece that combines artistry with approachability.
Centered on the theme of a fated love that transcends space and time, its energetic rock sound is deeply stirring.
Released by RADWIMPS in August 2016, the song was created as the theme for director Makoto Shinkai’s animated film “Your Name.” and is also included on the album “Ningen Kaika.” The “Your Name.” soundtrack album was a commercial success and was performed at the 67th NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen.
This piece is widely regarded as a song that electrifies live performances and is also popular as a practice track for band ensembles.
It’s a number that any music lover dreams of playing, so be sure to incorporate it into your practice.
I should be able to fly (in the sky).supittsu

Many people probably practiced this song as their very first piece on guitar.
Its relaxed rhythm also makes it a great choice for a band’s first song.
It’s perfect for those who want to learn to play with care and precision.
You’ll encounter the gateway for guitar beginners—the F chord—so let’s master it.
A tip for barre chords is to press the strings using the side of your finger.
Once you’ve mastered barre chords, the number of songs you can play will increase dramatically, so level up together with your bandmates!
SHAMROCKUVERworld

This song is imbued with a wish for good fortune and a strong will to make that wish come true.
Alongside the band’s distinctive sound, its positive message and refreshing melody resonate deeply.
Released as a single in August 2006, it was chosen as the theme song for the Fuji TV drama “Dandori.
~Dance☆Drill~” and is also included on the album “BUGRIGHT.” It became a track that highlights UVERworld’s musical style and lyrical message.
Even beginners will find it simple and approachable.
TRAIN-TRAINZa Burū Hātsu

THE BLUE HEARTS, a four-piece rock band that won overwhelming support from junior high and high school students nationwide and remains legendary even after disbanding.
Their third single, TRAIN-TRAIN, used as the theme song for the TV drama High School Graffiti, is still celebrated as a classic that transcends generations.
While technically simple, it serves as backing in sync with the drum beat, so it’s important to pick along with the recording even when practicing alone.
As a song everyone knows, it’s a rock tune guaranteed to get the crowd going when performed live.
