RewriteASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION

It was used as the opening theme for season 4 of the MBS/TBS anime Fullmetal Alchemist.
There are some tricky phrases here and there, but overall it’s a relatively easy song.
If you like ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, this is the first track I recommend.
Perfect-Sense DreamerONE OK ROCK

Among the Japanese rock scene, ONE OK ROCK’s signature song “Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer” is especially popular.
Some of you reading this might be thinking, “Isn’t that super hard!?”—but the guitar parts are actually simpler than you’d expect.
With an octave-riff and an A verse that uses variations of left-hand chord shapes, it’s a perfect song for beginner guitarists looking to move to the next level.
Since the tempo is fast, I recommend practicing at a slower speed until you’re comfortable so your chord changes and right-hand strumming don’t fall behind.
Girl SSCANDAL

This is a girls’ rock anthem that powerfully expresses the complex emotions felt by women in their adolescence.
SCANDAL portrays the instability of youth and the conflicts within romance with an energetic sound.
The slap bass technique used in the intro and interlude adds a vibrant drive to the track and strengthens the impact of its message.
Released in June 2009, the song was selected as the 10th opening theme for the anime BLEACH, and its music video—directed by comedian Hiroshi Shinagawa in his directorial debut—also drew attention.
It’s a great recommendation for beginners on guitar, and its robust rock sound and accessible melody are sure to boost your motivation to practice.

My Past Life, Many Lifetimes AgoRADWIMPS

It’s a masterpiece that combines artistry with approachability.
Centered on the theme of a fated love that transcends space and time, its energetic rock sound is deeply stirring.
Released by RADWIMPS in August 2016, the song was created as the theme for director Makoto Shinkai’s animated film “Your Name.” and is also included on the album “Ningen Kaika.” The “Your Name.” soundtrack album was a commercial success and was performed at the 67th NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen.
This piece is widely regarded as a song that electrifies live performances and is also popular as a practice track for band ensembles.
It’s a number that any music lover dreams of playing, so be sure to incorporate it into your practice.
I should be able to fly (in the sky).supittsu

Many people probably practiced this song as their very first piece on guitar.
Its relaxed rhythm also makes it a great choice for a band’s first song.
It’s perfect for those who want to learn to play with care and precision.
You’ll encounter the gateway for guitar beginners—the F chord—so let’s master it.
A tip for barre chords is to press the strings using the side of your finger.
Once you’ve mastered barre chords, the number of songs you can play will increase dramatically, so level up together with your bandmates!
catDISH//

This is a signature song by DISH//, written and composed by Aimyon, that depicts a poignant scene of parting.
Included as a coupling track on the August 2017 album “We Did It,” this masterpiece expresses lingering attachment and yearning for a lost loved one by layering those feelings onto the presence of a “cat.” The acoustic version performed in March 2020 drew a huge response, and from October of the same year it was used as an insert song in TV Tokyo’s Drama 25 series “Neko.” Also featured on the album “X,” the track has surpassed 1 billion streams and won the Excellence Award at the 62nd Japan Record Awards.
This massive hit is easy to play and can be arranged simply, so give it a try! There are also videos on YouTube, so be sure to check them out.
You don’t listen to rock.aimyon

This is the third major-label single by Aimyon, a female singer-songwriter from Hyogo Prefecture.
The guitar features a distorted melodic line in the intro and outro and clean-tone arpeggios; the acoustic guitar mainly uses chord strumming, so there aren’t any difficult parts and it’s easy to play.
The bass can stick to root notes throughout, but being mindful of when to let notes ring and when to cut them will help create clearer dynamics.
The drums can be played with just an 8-beat and simple fills.
Since the tempo is relaxed, none of the parts are technically demanding; however, precisely because it’s laid-back, the rhythm can easily rush, so having all band members stay conscious of the groove will help keep the performance tight.
