You know, it’s Saito from Trendy Angel—Saito-san.

Trendy Angel, who won the M-1 Grand Prix in 2015, has since become a familiar face on TV.

Their signature gag is the “Saito-san da zo,” delivered with a stance that practically says, “Who do you think you’re talking to?” The trick is to say it in a slightly good voice, with a bit of buildup.

How about perfectly copying one of Trendy Angel’s routines, or swapping parts of it for your own inside jokes and giving it a try? And of course, you can change the “Saito-san” part to your own last name!

Monosacist

A “monosashist” is someone who plays music using a ruler.

If you place a ruler on a hard surface and flick it, it makes a twanging sound, right? They use that sound to make music.

You might wonder, can you really play music that way? But when skilled players perform, you truly hear music! How about practicing secretly at home and then showing it off at school? Rulers made of metal or plastic seem to produce sound, but try different sizes and thicknesses to find the one that’s easiest for you to play!

KUKKI! from Yasei Bakudan’s white-face impersonations became a huge talking point on TV, didn’t they? The makeup—reflecting his highly praised, distinctive artistic sense—is striking.

While it’s not exactly something you can show off during school recess, it would definitely make a splash as a cultural festival act or event entertainment because it’s topical and exciting.

By all means, try doing a face impersonation of a teacher who’s popular with the students!

Tie a cherry stem with your tongue

It’s a party trick where you tie a cherry stem in a knot using just your mouth.

It looks easy, but when you try it, it’s harder than you think.

The trick is to check the stem’s length carefully and bend it bit by bit.

For some reason, it has a slightly grown-up vibe to it.

The thrower’s control is important, too.

Typing is essential for working on a computer.

This activity focuses not only on accuracy but also on speed.

Start by fixing your finger positions and entering text slowly and accurately, then gradually build up your speed through steady practice.

Keep the screen visible to others so they can watch as text is produced at a rapid pace.

To let people sense the speed from the sound as well, using a keyboard that makes a click when you press a key is also recommended.
