Isn’t a gift you can carry with you anytime, anywhere just wonderful? That’s why I suggest a tissue case.

We’ll use fabric, but since you won’t need a needle, it’s easy to get started.

First, choose a fabric you like, then cut it with scissors and glue pieces together to make it.

Just note that some steps involve using an iron and an awl.

It can be made in a relatively short time, so preparing a few and matching them with your friends is a great idea.

It might help deepen your bond.

Pouch from a snack bag

[100-yen DIY] Easy no-sew candy clear pouch! Adorably finished in no time with a cute charm!
Pouch from a snack bag

Here’s a pouch idea that could be mistaken for a store-bought product, made using a candy/snack bag.

This method lets you quickly create a pouch that looks professional.

You build the base with a soft card case and a zipper, then insert the package of your favorite snack to finish it off cutely.

All the materials can be found at 100-yen shops, so give it a try.

Of course, you can put in something other than a snack package, or decorate it before inserting it.

Once it’s done, it could be fun to fill it with sweets and give it as a gift.

Perfect for small gifts! Gift wrappingNEW!

If you’re thinking that a birthday present might feel a bit plain when both the wrapping bag and its contents are store-bought, how about a handmade mini pouch made from origami? It’s the perfect little pouch for small chocolates or candies, so once you learn how to make it, you’ll find it handy in many situations.

All you need is origami paper and glue—even if you’re not confident with crafts, it’s OK! Using 15 cm × 15 cm origami paper yields a palm-sized pouch.

Since it’s made by layering the paper, it’s reasonably sturdy too, which is a nice bonus.
