A Christmas card that can stand up for display

Let’s make a standing Christmas card that showcases children’s free ideas.
First, cut two sheets of construction paper into rectangles of the same size.
Cut out the center of one sheet like a window frame, and attach it to the lower part of the other sheet.
Use the cut-out center as a template to cut the inner piece from construction paper.
Next, decorate with items like sequins and then attach them to the construction paper.
Place the card in an envelope made from new construction paper to finish.

Snow Dome Suncatcher Made with Paper Plates

I’m going to show you how to make a very cute snow globe–shaped sun catcher using paper plates! You’ll need: two paper plates, a clear protective sheet, a plastic bag about the same size as the plates, cellophane or tissue paper, cotton, ribbon, snowflake stickers, and wood glue.
First, cut the cellophane or tissue paper into pieces.
Draw a circle in the center of the paper plates, stack the two plates together, and cut out the circle.
Next, attach the plastic bag to one of the plates, then stick on the cellophane pieces and cotton.
On the cut-out circle piece, draw an illustration and a base, cut them out, and stick them on.
Finally, glue the other paper plate on top—and you’re done!
Snow globe made from an empty bottle

How about making a snow globe at your Christmas party? You can get all the materials—like empty jars, glitter, and clear liquid glue—at a 100-yen shop.
It’s great because it’s easy to make.
For the object inside, you can create your own original piece with paper clay or origami, or use a favorite small figurine.
The sparkling glitter looks like snowflakes, and every shake makes you feel excited.
You can display it at home and enjoy it until Christmas, making it a perfect opportunity to nurture children’s creativity.
Nodding Santa Claus

A craft themed around Santa Claus, the iconic symbol of Christmas, is sure to instantly boost children’s excitement and anticipation.
By attaching facial parts for Santa to a pipe cleaner inserted into a paper cup, you can easily make a bobble-head style figure that nods thanks to the pipe cleaner’s springiness.
You can also express Santa’s outfit by sticking red origami paper onto the cup and let kids freely draw Santa’s face, which helps bring out their individuality.
When making the hole in the paper cup to insert the pipe cleaner, be very careful not to puncture your hand with an awl or other tool.
Christmas boots

Since long ago, one of the joys of Christmas has been Santa Claus slipping presents into your stocking while you sleep.
Creating your own boots to hold those presents can make the experience even more exciting.
You can craft a boot shape from construction paper in your favorite color and decorate it with origami paper, crayons, and more to make a one-of-a-kind boot.
It’s best for adults to handle tasks like cutting the construction paper into a boot shape and punching the holes needed to thread the cut boot pieces together.
Hang the finished boots on the wall, and you’ll instantly boost the festive atmosphere with a cute craft packed with children’s dreams.
