SiM’s best and most popular songs (1–10)
AmySiM

From the 2nd mini album “LiFE and DEATH,” released in May 2012.
It’s the album’s lead track.
The intro, which starts with a single-note riff on a down-tuned guitar, is striking.
You could even say this song sparked the popularity of the “two-step” often seen at loud rock shows.
EXiSTENCESiM

From their 4th full album “THE BEAUTiFUL PEOPLE,” released in April 2016.
Also included on the 5th single “ANGELS and DEViLS,” this is an original theme song written for the anime “Rage of Bahamut: GENESIS.” The Japanese lyrics in the chorus carry a powerful message, and together with its striking intro, it can be considered one of their new signature songs.
Set me freeSiM

From the 1st full album “Silence iz Mine,” released in June 2008.
A reggae-influenced track representative of early SiM.
Nowadays, it’s often performed in the Refined ver.
included on the 2nd single “Murderer,” released in March 2009.
That version features a louder rock arrangement, with additions like a beatdown, making it even heavier.
Incidentally, the album title reflects the origin of SiM’s band name, meaning “Silence is mine.”

BBTSiM

They’re an indispensable presence in Japan’s loud rock scene! Formed in 2004, SiM has won popularity with a unique sound that fuses punk, reggae, metal, emo, and more.
They made their major-label debut in 2013 and produced hit songs like “KiLLiNG ME” and “The Rumbling.” In 2015, they successfully headlined a show at Nippon Budokan, and their momentum hasn’t slowed since.
Their blend of fierce band sound and catchy melodies captivates not only loud rock fans but a wide range of listeners.
If you love rock—or just want to discover something new—this is a band you definitely should check out!
Faster Than The ClockSiM

From their second full album, SEEDS OF HOPE, released in October 2011.
It’s a live-ready track that shifts from a high-speed two-beat to a heavy, reggae-flavored A section, with a part where you can do two-step as well.
The guitar riff played with tapping (light-hand technique), ringing out from the intro, is especially striking.
wishingSiM

From the 3rd single “ANTHEM,” released in March 2010.
At first it seems like a song built on a straightforward, melodic two-beat throughout, but sure enough, a touch of dub reggae slips in, giving it an emo feel.
Because everything outside the chorus runs on an energetic two-beat, the chorus itself feels all the more expansive.
GET iT OUTSiM

From the collaborative single with Crossfaith, “GET iT OUT,” released in May 2016.
It was also used as the theme song for Red Bull AIR RACE CHIBA 2016.
This collaboration pairs SiM with Crossfaith, the Kansai-born metalcore band renowned worldwide for their activity and success.
SiM’s alluring, sing-along-friendly chorus melodies and Crossfaith’s powerful shouts are brilliantly fused in this track.
