SiM’s classic and popular songs (11–20)
R.P.GSiM

From the 2nd mini album “LiFE and DEATH,” released in May 2012.
This track showcases SiM’s signature reggae-punk at its finest.
From the intro, a solid reggae vibe drifts through, then gets further distorted to transform into a reggae-flavored punk rock riff for the A-melody.
And then comes the chorus.
Throughout the song, the reggae rhythm is treated with great care.
REDSiM

It delivers a sharp challenge to a divided society and a powerful message that seeks the commonality among people.
Featured on the album PLAYDEAD, this track was chosen as the opening theme for the second season of the anime Kengan Ashura and became a hit.
Its sound—fusing loud rock, reggae, and punk—radiates overwhelming presence, and questions like “Why do you treat yourself as special?” and “We all bleed the same red,” evoke deep empathy in those confronting the contradictions of society.
If you’re looking for a hard-hitting anime song, don’t miss this!
Dance In The DarkSiM

From the 4th full album “THE BEAUTiFUL PEOPLE,” released in April 2016.
Featuring SiM’s signature tribal (ethnic) scale and bouncy rhythm, the gritty, heavy riff leaves a strong impression.
I feel this track expresses how SiM’s more primitive, folk-inflected color became clearer starting with this album.
Fallen IdolsSiM

From the 3rd mini album “i AGAINST i,” released in September 2014.
The song takes the sorrow of discovering the irredeemable inner side of someone you once admired and turns it into a lesson learned—channeling it into a forward-looking resolve: “I won’t become like that!” Another distinctive feature is its use of a method common in reggae, where a new song is built on a riddim (a memorable bassline and drum pattern from a hit track).
Get Up, Get UpSiM

From the 2nd mini-album “LiFE and DEATH,” released in May 2012.
Also featured on “VANS COMPILATION LOUD SESSION!!! VANS×BANDS 2,” released in March 2012, it opens the mini-album with a distinctive intro packed with gritty, brutal hardcore riffs.
The chorus then shifts into a groove driven primarily by a reggae-style swing.
The fusion of these contrasting elements blends together in a strikingly cool way.
I HATE U (It’s Not A Play On Words)SiM

From the 2nd full album “SEEDS OF HOPE,” released in October 2011.
As the title suggests, it’s a track bursting with explosive anger, intense lyrics, and a sing-along of “Fxxk you!! Fxxk you!!” in the chorus that creates a strong sense of unity at live shows.
Crossfaith’s vocalist Koie also joins this song with his shouts.

JACK.BSiM

From the 1st mini album “LIVING IN PAiN,” released in October 2010.
This lead track opens the record.
It features an easy-to-listen, four-on-the-floor beat that naturally gets your body moving.
At the same time, its strongly message-driven lyrics—along with the hidden, true message and playful wordplay—let you experience the depth of the band SiM.
