SKE48’s iconic and popular songs (41–50)
Gold Love, Silver LoveSKE48

“Kan no Ai, Gin no Ai” is a single released by SKE48 in 2016, with Jurina Matsui as the center.
It ranked first on the Oricon weekly chart.
In the drama “Death Cash,” for which this song was used as the theme, Jurina Matsui plays the lead role.
1! 2! 3! 4! Nice to meet you!SKE48

It’s a popular song by SKE48, a sister group of AKB48.
It’s a lively dance number.
Since it includes spoken lines, it’s guaranteed to get everyone hyped at karaoke.
Until now they were mostly seen as AKB’s sister group, but this track gave SKE48 a big boost of momentum.
Sorry, SUMMERSKE48

It might remind you of the romances of your youth.
This song by the idol group SKE48 was released in 2010 as their third single.
Its upbeat four-on-the-floor rhythm pairs perfectly with the members’ bright, blossoming vocals, making it feel incredibly refreshing.
Both the sound and the lyrics make you want to go see a vast, endless blue ocean.
Let this work bring back those almost-forgotten days!
Memory of CosmosSKE48

Cosmos no Kioku by SKE48, the idol group representing Nagoya.
This song was included as a B-side on the 2010 single “1!2!3!4! Yoroshiku!,” with Jurina Matsui and Rena Matsui in the center positions.
It portrays the feelings of a boy who puts on a brave face but can’t bring himself to confess his feelings to the girl he loves who’s transferring away.
Though it’s a bittersweet love song, it’s also very upbeat in true idol-song fashion, with a refreshing, clear-sky-in-autumn vibe that makes it a particularly charming track.
Alibi of JealousySKE48

This song, included on the 2010 album “Seifuku no Me,” is an upbeat, high-energy pop track that sings about a woman’s feelings as she hops on the last flight to crash a cheating scene and travels beyond the International Date Line.
A Flower in the HeartSKE48

SKE48, Nagoya’s leading idol group with an unshakable presence.
With Jurina Matsui and Rena Matsui as the “Double Matsui,” they defined an era and appeared numerous times on the NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen.
They have many big hits like “Pareo wa Emerald” and “Kiss Datte Hidarikiki.” Even after the Double Matsui left, the group continued to stand out within the 48 family led by Akari Suda—but it was recently announced that Suda-san will be graduating from the group… It’s sad.
The trainee stage show “We’re Growing Up” has earned high praise, and talented performers are emerging one after another.
Incidentally, the previous trainee stage was “Seishun Girls.” Personally, I’m excited to see the success of the 9th generation members, including Mako Ohashi!
Surprisingly MangoSKE48

This song is also by SKE48, a sister idol group of AKB.
Since it was released as a summer single, it has a summery vibe.
The bright music video showcasing the members’ energy is a must-see.
Be sure to give it a listen.
