While AKB48 is based in Akihabara, SKE48 operates out of Sakae in Nagoya.
They’re known for sharp dance moves and high-energy live performances.
They also embrace community contribution as one of their themes, engaging in volunteer activities such as cleaning efforts in their home base of Sakae.
Please enjoy SKE48’s music, closely connected to their local community.

SKE48’s iconic and popular songs (41–50)
Blue-Sky Unrequited LoveSKE48

SKE48 is a group with a dedicated theater in Sakae, Nagoya, using it as their base while primarily performing in the Chukyo region.
Many members are from Aichi Prefecture, and notably, Jurina Matsui from Aichi is also active with AKB48.
This song was released in 2010 as SKE48’s second single, and Matsui served as the center for the first time with this track.

What is the future?SKE48

They also debuted as a sister-type idol group to AKB and have become hugely popular.
With member changes and such, many people probably can’t tell the differences, but you should at least remember the group’s name.
After all, they’re selling this well.
As if the cat’s tail is standing straight up…SKE48

A song included as a B-side on SKE48’s 14th single “Mirai to wa?” released on March 19, 2014.
It’s a mid-tempo pop track that combines rap by Bose from Scha Dara Parr.
Let’s say it together on three!SKE48
A commercial from 2018 when Washoku Mendokoro Sagami celebrated its 48th anniversary and ran a collaboration campaign with SKE48’s 10th anniversary.
On days containing “4” or “8,” showing a Sagami app coupon would get you 10% off your bill, and at the same time SKE members held a “soba push” showdown—competing to see who could sell the most after the campaign ended.
There was also a giveaway where collecting stamps could win prizes like SKE48 theater tickets.
The scenes of them cutely and appetizingly eating soba are particularly memorable.
Banzai VenusSKE48

This is SKE48’s fifth single, released in 2011.
The center positions were performed by Jurina Matsui and Rena Matsui.
With a pop-style melody featuring varied choruses, it’s a song that supports someone confessing their unrequited love.
Clumsy SunSKE48

This is a classic SKE48 ballad that likens the feelings of a timid boy to the sun.
While SKE48 is known within the AKB group for having the sharpest, most dynamic dancing, this performance features a gentler, more graceful style.
It’s also a song from the period when NMB48’s Milky (Watanabe Miyuki) was concurrently holding a position.
Gonna JumpSKE48

There probably aren’t many idol songs that speak directly to fans’ hearts the way this one does.
Many idol songs are written with live performances in mind, and this track also includes call-and-response sections within the choreography.
It’s a sure bet for karaoke.
