[Easy Magic] Special Feature on Smartphone Magic Tricks (41–50)
Magic that makes your smartphone stick to your hand

It’s a magic trick where you gradually lift your fingers—one, two, and so on—from the smartphone in your right hand, and in the end even when you open your hand, the phone doesn’t fall.
Some of you may have noticed from the video, but the secret is that the index finger of your left hand, placed against your right wrist, is actually holding the phone in place.
If someone sees it in person, they’ll probably catch on quickly, so it might be useful to remember as a little joke for a drinking party.
That said, it can be surprisingly hard to spot on video, so if you have a chance to show a trick on camera, give it a try.
A prank magic trick that cracks a smartphone screen

It’s a shocking act where you hit a smartphone screen with a brick and appear to crack the display.
In reality, the brick is a soft toy, and the phone is merely showing an image that looks like a shattered screen.
You can use this trick as a basis for other magic, such as “restoring” the broken screen, or incorporating it into different routines.
Since the cracked-screen image really looks convincing from a short distance, performing with confidence is the key to success.
A smartphone levitating in midair

It’s a levitation magic trick where, by “sending energy” while holding a finger along the edge of a smartphone, the phone that should fall stays upright.
The method is very simple: run a thread inside the phone case and hook the end that comes out of the charging port hole onto your finger.
When you make the motion of sending energy, you twist the thread hooked on your finger and pull it taut to keep the phone from tilting.
Key points include using a phone case with colored edges so the thread isn’t visible, and performing the twisting motion subtly so it isn’t noticed.
A smartphone that won’t fall off your arm

What happens if you extend your arm, place a smartphone around the inner side of your elbow, and then rotate your wrist as it is? If you actually try it, the phone will probably fall off—but this trick makes it not fall at all.
There doesn’t seem to be any particular gimmick or secret, but the key is to place the phone above the bend of the elbow, and to perform it in a way that makes it look like your hand is open and moving broadly to enhance the mystery.
After demonstrating it once, having the audience try it the same way can create a stronger sense of involvement and make things more exciting.
A rubber band passes through a smartphone

This is a simple magic trick using a smartphone and a rubber band.
The secret lies in how you put on the rubber band.
First, put the rubber band on the phone normally.
Then twist the band, hold the crossed part with your thumb, twist it once in the opposite direction from the first twist, and hook it onto the phone again.
After a magical gesture, pull the band and release your thumb: it will slip off smoothly.
If you fumble while putting on the band, it will look suspicious, so practice until you can do it smoothly.
It’s easy to replicate, yet it feels very mysterious.
