Haisai FESTASat 5/2 – Wed 5/6, Kanagawa Prefecture

This is an event held at a commercial complex in Kawasaki, Kanagawa, that showcases Okinawan culture. The outdoor stage features popular free live performances, including traditional dances and shows by artists from Okinawa, which draw large crowds every time. As one of the largest Okinawa-themed events in the Tokyo metropolitan area, there are an overwhelming number of food stalls offering Okinawan specialties—you’ll have fun just deciding what to try. Kichijoji Music FestivalMay 3 (Sun) – 5 (Tue), Tokyo
