A spring festival for citizens will be held in Shiraoka City, Saitama Prefecture! Local amateur bands active in the area will perform on the outdoor stage next to the Shiraoka City Hall. The performers’ styles are diverse—blues, bossa nova, hard rock, and even high school bands from within the city—energizing the crowd with powerful shows. To make it a beloved event for the community, admission is free, so it’s a highly recommended festival that anyone can enjoy with ease!

A rock festival exclusively for female artists, planned by Keiko Terada of the rock band SHOW-YA. It’s a special event featuring many legendary artists who have had a major impact on the Japanese music scene. This event had been held as JAPAN JAM BEACH until 2016, but due to facility constraints at Makuhari Seaside Park, the venue, we relocated starting in 2017. The new venue spans roughly 50 hectares, and the grounds where the stages are set up are adjacent to each other, allowing for a compact layout. What’s more, it has become a truly groundbreaking urban festival, just an 8-minute walk from the nearest station!
