Let’s make a room decoration garland using colorful straws! Cut the straws to the same length and thread a string through them to form triangles.

If you attach a bent piece of wire to the end of the string, it works like a threader and makes it easier to pass through the straws.

By threading the string back through the first straw at the end, you can complete a neat triangle.

Once you’ve reached your desired length, decorate by attaching bells or tassels to the tips of the triangles.

You can express your originality by making triangles in your preferred sizes, arranging them randomly, and using a variety of colors.

Let me introduce a heart made with straws.

You’ll use two straws and finish it by weaving them together.

To make it easier to weave, flatten the straws first.

Since it’s easy to lose track of the weaving at the beginning, using straws in different colors is recommended.

Let’s make a butterfly decoration for a straw.

Stack two quarter-size sheets of origami paper and fold them in half, then use scissors to cut out a butterfly shape.

Next, make two small slits along the folded edge, and thread the straw through the space between the two slits—done! You now have a fluttering butterfly straw decoration.

It’s a very simple process, but just adding this to a straw makes it cute and gives it a special feel.
