Tough To Be A HughHarukamirai

A track included on the album Eternal Flower, released in January 2019.
The lyrics, which portray the nuances of interpersonal distance and inner conflict, leave a strong impression.
Its emotional rock sound and driving rhythm resonate deeply.
A fan favorite that’s often performed live, it showcases Harukamirai’s performance power to the fullest.
You can feel the momentum of a band that was playing around 150 shows a year.
It’s the perfect song for when you want to let your emotions out or reflect on feelings you keep inside.
TataraPikon

Picon is a Vocaloid producer who delivers songs with a mysterious atmosphere to listeners.
Among his tracks, active since the 2010s, the one I especially recommend is Tatara, produced in 2019.
Its unique melody line, etched over a brisk beat, is irresistibly catchy.
The mechanical Hatsune Miku vocals that evoke the early Vocaloid scene are also cool.
It’s a work I’d recommend to people in their 20s who listened to Vocaloid songs during their school days.
Be sure to pay attention to the dark, irony-laced lyrics as you listen.
The Insufficient PumpkinPinokio P

This is a Halloween song written specifically for a FamilyMart project.
Created by multi-creator PinocchioP, who also handles the illustrations and video, it was released in 2014.
Perhaps thanks to its rhythmic and upbeat tone, it fills you with energy as you listen.
The lyrics are crafted in the same spirit.
It conveys the feeling of a special day that comes once a year, and there’s something endearing about it.
If you want to go all out and enjoy Halloween to the fullest, this one’s recommended.
Sunpinku pandā

Pink Powder was a Kansai rock band formed in 1997 and disbanded in 2004, consisting of vocalist/bassist Hatsue, guitarist Teppei, and Etsuko—the “too-beautiful drummer” who drew much attention.
The former bassist Takatoshi, who left the band, is from Tottori Prefecture.
Under the production of Masahide Sakuma, who worked with many legendary bands such as GLAY and JUDY AND MARY, they made their major debut in 2001 with the single “STEP.” The band name—coined by Hatsue—reflects their musical aims, evoking a liberating, glittering brightness that feels pleasantly open.
The cute vocals are reminiscent of YUKI, and this is a band I recommend to anyone seeking nostalgic, truly good punk rock!

Boredom turns into bubblesFanī Kanpanī

Funny Company is known for its unique sound that fuses electronica, pop, and indie rock.
Their track “BABY” has captured the attention of a wide range of music fans and earned high praise for its distinctive sound and emotional depth.
They have received numerous music awards, including Best New Artist and Best Album, recognizing their creativity and contributions to music.
Their live performances are energetic and characterized by a strong connection with the audience.
In their studio albums, they focus on meticulous sound quality and innovative sound design.
They’re a band that men in their 50s who love rock should definitely check out.
Journey to the MultiverseFā Īsuto Famerī Bando

Far East Family Band is a progressive rock group also known for having the synthesizer player Kitaro as a member.
Formed in 1973 around Fumio Miyashita, they released many songs with uniquely Japanese, oriental elements not found in Western prog bands.
For their 1976 album “Parallel World,” they brought in Klaus Schulze, the German pioneer of electronic music, as producer.
It’s a mystical work where you can enjoy the striking timbres of synthesizers!
There was just a choice.furokuro

I can only tip my hat to the sheer creativity and ingenuity.
This piece, released in 2021 by Frokuro, a Vocaloid producer known for experimental musicality, is one I’d love you to experience while watching the music video.
The track employs a clever mechanism: sixteen chords are prepared, each assigned a corresponding word; by rearranging their order and playing the chords, both the mood of the music and the lyrics shift.
The same sounds and words recur, yet it feels like it’s looping without actually looping… As you listen, a strange sensation is sure to swirl in your chest.
