MONONOFU NIPPON feat. Tomoyasu HoteiMomoiro Kurōbā Zetto

Momoiro Clover Z is an idol group that’s also popular among women in their teens and twenties.
Their energetic performances, which outshine other idols, never fail to amaze.
Among their songs, the one I especially recommend is MONONOFU NIPPON feat.
Tomoyasu Hotei.
Its powerful style requires a decent amount of vocal strength, but since there aren’t many long sustained notes, breathing is surprisingly manageable.
If you sing it with multiple people, you can cover the volume together, so definitely give it a try when you go to karaoke with your girlfriends.
Only I am loveTomei

Tomaki’s “Only I Love” is a striking work that portrays deep emotions and complex human relationships.
The lyrics express jealousy and possessiveness in love with intense clarity, stirring the listener’s heart.
She rose to popularity with “Suzume feat.
Tomaki,” produced by Yojiro Noda of RADWIMPS, and this song is also produced by Noda.
Like “Suzume,” this piece is marked by a clear, high-range musicality, but it doesn’t demand much vocal power; if you can hit high notes at a low volume, it should be very easy to sing.
circleIkuta Rira

Singer-songwriter Lila Ikuta, who is not only the vocalist of YOASOBI but also highly active as a solo artist.
With YOASOBI she delivers cute electropop, while her solo work includes acoustic pieces.
Among her songs, the one I especially recommend is Circle.
Released in 2023, it’s a fresh, acoustic track with a clean melody.
Since it has few falsetto parts, it’s relatively easy to sing compared to many of her other songs.
marine blueShiori Tamai

Shiori Tamai, a member of Momoiro Clover Z, is taking on the challenge of releasing a single every month in 2023.
“Marine Blue” is the track that marked August in that challenge.
It’s a bright, summery song with a consistently pleasant groove throughout.
Since it’s not an unconventional composition, the melody is easy to follow and the rhythm is easy to keep, so I think teenage girls should be able to sing it without any trouble.
If you clearly emphasize the contrast between the chorus and the A and B verses, it will sound even better, so keep that in mind.

So painful it makes me want to cryYuka

Yuka, a female singer-songwriter who has gained popularity for her original musicality that incorporates a wide range of genres such as alternative rock and R&B.
Recently she had been singing alternative rock with a somewhat loud sound, but this work, while retaining the feel of alternative rock, also has the catchy, singable quality of J-pop.
As Yuka is a female artist with a low voice, this is a song I especially recommend for teenage girls who struggle to hit high notes.
Eine KleineYonezu Kenshi

Kenshi Yonezu is such a national artist that there may be no one in Japan who doesn’t know him now.
The song “Eine Kleine” is a track from his second album “YANKEE,” released in 2014, and it’s a very popular love song.
It’s the kind of number that conveys, almost painfully, the feeling of caring for someone so deeply that you’d rather be the one to get hurt than hurt someone else because of that love—the emotions come crashing in.
Although it’s a song by a male artist, it’s sung from a female perspective, and it’s a piece that women can sing naturally without feeling out of place.
First NightYorushika

Yorushika is a duo that has gained popularity for their deep lyrics and ennui-tinged melodies.
I think every teenage girl has heard their music at least once.
Among Yorushika’s songs, the one I especially recommend is Daiichiya (First Night).
It’s a relaxed track that layers whisper-like vocals over the simple instrumentation characteristic of Yorushika.
The vocal range is fairly narrow and there aren’t many long sustained notes, so it’s an easy song to sing even for those who aren’t confident in their vocal power or lung capacity.
