[For upper grades] Simple magic tricks for elementary school students: astonishing and moving magic (31–40)
Dice Clairvoyance Magic

Of the three paper cups, you hide a die under one of them.
Then you have someone shuffle them and try to guess which cup has the die.
It’s mysterious because you can guess it even though you didn’t watch the shuffling.
The trick is super simple: just put a different mark on each cup.
That way, they only move the cups without the die, so you can tell that the die is under the cup that hasn’t moved from its original position!
Mechanical Pencil Lead Case – Penetration Magic

A magic trick that makes a mechanical pencil lead case pass through another—perfect to show off at school! First, prepare two lead cases.
If you borrow a friend’s, it feels more like a performance, which is great.
Hold one case in each hand, using your middle finger and thumb.
Then, angle them so they cross like a X and tap them together several times.
At the exact moment you strike with some force, briefly loosen your grip and thread one case through the other.
It’s a simple trick, but it takes practice to perform smoothly—once you’ve got it, it looks really cool!
Tissue Paper Revival Magic

A single tissue with no tricks or gimmicks—you tear off a small piece from the tip, so the remaining tissue should have a hole… but there’s no hole? The secret is that you first hide the torn-off piece between your fingers, then pretend to tear the tissue and show the pre-hidden piece as if it’s the one you just tore.
That’s why the remaining tissue has no hole.
Since you only need a tissue, you can perform this trick anywhere.
A magic trick where the ball disappears when hidden with a playing card

It’s a magic trick where a ball hidden behind a playing card seems to vanish right before your eyes.
Place a sponge ball on the table, then prop a playing card in front of it to hide the ball.
When you blow on it, the sponge appears to disappear.
Prepare two identical face cards; cut out the picture area from one, and attach the cut-out portion onto the other card.
As you place the card in front of the sponge, secretly conceal the ball in your hand and stand the face card up.
Finally, when you blow, it will look as if the sponge has vanished.
Be mindful of your angles so the audience can’t see you hiding the ball at the crucial moment.
Handkerchief Penetration Magic

A magic trick where you appear to pierce a handkerchief with a pen, then when you pull the pen out and look at the handkerchief… there’s no hole anywhere? In fact, after you insert the pen into the handkerchief, you fold it back toward yourself once, and when you stand the pen up, it’s actually on the outside of the handkerchief.
In other words, the pen is passing through the outside, not the inside, of the handkerchief.
Add a bit of performance flair and make an exaggerated motion as if you’re dramatically tearing through the handkerchief!
