This is a dynamic, Japanese-style Vocaloid track that shifts from a glossy intro into a hard rock vibe.
The song is by Umetora, a popular Vocaloid producer active since the early days of the scene, and it was released in 2020.
The blend of beauty and cool intensity in the sound is absolutely fantastic! The lyrics carry an encouraging message to “push forward with all your strength.” The sequel track, Raimei: Chapter II, is also available—be sure to listen to it together!
Scarlet in the eyesShishi Shishi
A stylish, cool, and insanely addictive Vocaloid tune.
It’s a track by Shishi Shishi, the hitmaker behind songs like “Eien Hanahadashii” and “Taimanaku Aiiro,” released in August 2023.
The relentless, never-stopping drive of the song is irresistible.
The shift into a hip-hop vibe midway is another highlight.
Miku’s slightly noisy vocal texture meshes perfectly with the sound.
With lyrics that spell out a will to fight, it’s a thrilling piece of mixture rock.
Chill, fluffy Sea-of-Trees girlishiburo
It’s a pop guitar rock tune that charges in from the intro.
Released in 2011 under the Vocaloid producer name Ishifuro by Asahi, who also plays guitar in the band Necry Talkie.
It’s said to have been inspired by the Twitter handle of someone he followed: “Yurufuwa Jukai Girl.” The distorted guitars and powerful drums are wildly cool! It’s a high-energy Vocalo-rock track with slightly negative lyrics you can’t help but relate to.
Lost UmbrellaInabakumo
A blend of ennui and coolness—once it hooks you, you can’t escape—this is irresistible Vocalo-rock.
It’s a track by Vocaloid producer Inabakumori, who won over overseas Vocaloid fans with the smash hit “Lagtrain,” and it was released in 2018.
Despite its sense of speed, it feels different from an upper-tune, likely thanks to the understated melody and Yuki’s whispery vocals.
And the arrangement—centered on two chords that create a wide dynamic range, as heard in the intro—deserves nothing but admiration for its finesse.
Aha!usushio shisū
Hakuenshio Shisū, a Vocaloid producer who has drawn attention with songs using UTAU’s Kasane Teto.
Known for delivering message-driven tracks to listeners, he released “Aha↑↑” in 2023.
The song portrays confronting the anxiety and fear felt throughout life, resulting in a piece with a somewhat ennui atmosphere.
The repeated chorus lines sung by the Harui vocals convey a sense of fragility and poignancy.
It’s a Vocaloid track whose dark sound—where electronica and rock intertwine—lingers in the ears.

This piece charmingly portrays the vague, everyday anxieties we all feel.
It’s a track by the Vocaloid producer Usushio Shisū, known for rock numbers, released in June 2023.

It’s adorable and wildly relatable.
