Journeyadachi kasuka
Characterized by an easy-to-listen rock sound, this work by Vocaloid producer Adachi Kasuka was released in April 2025.
The blend of Hatsune Miku’s straightforward vocals and refreshing guitar tones is striking—it makes you want to sway your shoulders as you listen.
The lyrics, themed around a “journey” and designed to accompany the listener’s own steps, are truly wonderful.

ColorfulHiiragi Magunetaito
A pop-rock number bathed in the glittering light of youth.
Composed by Hiiragi Magnetite, known for signature works like “Arusekai Shōshitsu” (“The Disappearance of a Certain World”), it’s slated for release in March 2025.
Based on the grand-prize winner of the “Youth Novel × Vocaloid Producer Cup,” the song’s driving sound captures the emotional swings of life—joy and sorrow, hope and despair.

Goodbye, Rock ‘n’ RollNeru
It’s a Vocaloid rock track with a somewhat forlorn, retro vibe.
The song is by Neru, the Vocaloid producer behind numerous hit tracks like “Lost One’s Weeping,” and it’s included on his major-label debut album, Sekai Seifuku, released in 2013.
I imagine many listeners will relate to the lyrics, which portray the sense of distance from people around you and the restlessness of the heart.
It might hit especially hard if you listen to it while walking outside around dusk.

How about some Vocaloid rock with irresistibly crisp guitar cutting? It’s a track by REISAI, the music duo of Yopi and Azen Sakana, released in April 2023.
As I mentioned earlier, the guitar is simply the best! The driving drums and the lively, roaming bass are just as amazing! The sudden metal-style break in the interlude really cranks up the excitement, too! REISAI has been releasing a series of works with a unified worldbuilding, including this song, “Gloomy Kiss.” If you’re hooked on this track, you absolutely should check out their other songs as well!

A funky, stylish, and passionate piece with wah-infused guitar that lingers in your ears.
“Kakumei” (Revolution) is a track by Teary Planet, who release both Vocaloid songs and original band pieces.
It was released in August 2023 and participated in the Bokokore 2023 Summer TOP 100 rankings.
The lyrics carry a powerful message: “Even if you’re in the minority, believe in yourself and move forward as you wish.” It’s a chest-thumping anthem that will give you the strength to face tomorrow.

Kagamine Len’s sharply defined vocals match perfectly with the rhythmic arrangement.
The lyrics, which honestly express emotions that can’t be contained even while being self-aware of one’s own personality, are incredibly relatable.
It really hits home when you want to acknowledge your budding feelings in love and honestly admit how much you like someone.
BLUE BACKjin
