I’ll show you how to fold cute oden out of origami! You’ll need gray origami paper, yellow origami paper, brown origami paper, light brown origami paper, clear tape, glue, and colored pencils.

First, fold the gray origami paper into a triangle twice to make konnyaku, then draw the konnyaku pattern with colored pencils.

Next, use the yellow origami paper to make daikon.

Fold it using the “zabuton” method and round all four corners.

Draw patterns on the daikon with colored pencils, too.

Then, on the brown origami paper, draw the chikuwa pattern first, apply glue, and roll it into a tube.

Finally, fold the light brown origami paper into a thin stick to make a skewer.

Attach the ingredients to the skewer with clear tape, and you’re done!

Rotate 90 degrees and flip it over, then fold the top and bottom edges to the center line.

Next, fold down the side with the white section, then fold it back up so the white part sticks out.

With the white side facing you, tuck in the corners to shape the colored area into a chicken form.
