Be kind to othersTHE BLUE HEARTS

Released in 1995, it’s one of THE BLUE HEARTS’ signature songs.
It was used as an insert song in the drama “Hito ni Yasashiku,” starring Shingo Katori.
It cheers on people who are hopelessly clumsy.
Even though they’re doing their best to live, they struggle without being recognized by those around them.
The desire to be treated kindly is a feeling everyone has.
Listening to this singing voice, you can sprint your heart out in a race without caring about your place.
Hikari’s DiscoCAPSULE

Lately, trends like 1980s disco music, synth-pop, and blue-eyed soul have been taking off around the world.
It seems those trends are finally making their way into Japan as well.
In this current music scene, a particularly recommended release is Hikari no Disco.
Since it’s by a Japanese artist, it may feel a bit less sleek than Western music, but it makes up for it with stronger catchiness and a poppier vibe than many overseas works.
If you’re looking for a cute track to do cheer dance to, definitely check it out.
One in a Million -On a Miraculous Night-GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE

It’s a heartrending breakup song about realizing your true feelings only after you’ve decided to part ways with your lover.
It’s included on the dance-vocal group GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE’s fifth album, SHONEN CHRONICLE, released in 2019.
It became a hot topic when it was chosen as the theme song for the film Kiss Me at the Stroke of Midnight.
If you’ve seen it, a scene from the movie might come to mind.
As mentioned, the lyrics are utterly bittersweet, but the song’s driving tempo makes it danceable.
Runwaymilet

If you’re looking for a catchy track everyone can dance to, I recommend milet’s “Runway.” The EDM elements give it a refreshing pop feel, and milet’s wistful vocals fit perfectly.
When you’re feeling unmotivated, listening to this song can put you in a positive mood! Definitely give it a try—it’s great for drives, too!
One Heartatarashii gakkou no rīdāzu

A song that brings everyone’s hearts together! It’s a青春 (coming-of-age) cheer anthem that echoes through the gym.
Atarashii Gakko no Leaders created a brand-new song for Bourbon’s “Fettuccine Gummi” TV commercial, premiering in March 2025.
This powerful track expresses the drive to keep moving forward, and through fans’ cheers and dance performances, it brings both adults and kids together in excitement.
For the music video shoot, about 300 fans gathered to pull off a large-scale group performance in a gymnasium.
It’s a fresh, energetic, and powerful song that will lift spirits not only at graduations and sports days, but also for anyone starting a new chapter in life.
HOPE & DREAMSMISIA

Tokyo Rainbow Week 2014: People who support gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and others have kicked into action.
MISIA’s husky voice and upbeat rhythm power the energizing track HOPE & DREAMS.
The pleading lyrics and poignant cries in the middle section really hit home—classic MISIA.
This summer-perfect number is sure to bring smiles to many faces.
PlayPerfume

Perfume’s songs always give you energy, don’t they? That’s why I feel they’re a perfect fit for cheer dance.
“Saisei” was used as the theme song for the film Murder at Shijinsou starring Ryunosuke Kamiki.
Even for Perfume, I feel like there aren’t many songs with this many lyrics, so it felt like seeing a new side of them—am I imagining it? Even so, their signature cute, pop vibe is still very much there.
With this song, everyone can dance together happily with natural smiles, so I highly recommend it.
