Let It All OutLEISURE

Leisure is a collective-style band based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Starting from a laid-back session on the west coast of Muriwai in 2015, they’ve become known for a sound that centers on electronic music while fluidly crossing genres like funk, disco, and alternative R&B.

Each member is a seasoned talent with their own projects, and in 2023 one member won the APRA Silver Scroll Award for Benny’s “Glitter,” highlighting their strong reputation as producers as well.

In December 2025, they released a track that had been performed to great acclaim on the tour for their album “Welcome to the Mood.” The song features a dazzling, French touch–inspired piano riff intertwined with a groovy disco-funk bassline, building to a cathartic, exhilarating release in the chorus.

Lyrically, it portrays unwavering support for a loved one and the importance of putting that connection into words now.

It’s a perfect track for a nighttime drive or as party background music.

This song, a decisive turning point in Bob Dylan’s career, was released as a single in July 1965.

Dylan, previously known as a leading figure in acoustic folk, fully embraced electric guitar and a rock-band lineup, and the track opened the album Highway 61 Revisited.

Despite its unusual length of over six minutes for a pop single at the time, it reached No.

2 on the U.S.

charts.

The lyrics portray a character called “Miss Lonely,” who is cast from a life of wealth into a stark, solitary reality, and can be read as a scathing critique of a world steeped in pretense.

Its influence extends beyond music—its title was even quoted for a documentary film by director Martin Scorsese.

Give it a listen when you want to take a hard look at yourself.

La RealSurgeon

Surgeon, a producer based in Birmingham, UK, has long pioneered an industrial techno sound.

Released in March 2000 on his own label Counterbalance, this work can be considered the very essence of hard, austere minimalism.

It takes its name from a legendary club that once existed in Spain, and has long been cherished as an anthem symbolizing the venue’s feverish nights.

There may be no flashy melodies, but the stoic groove delivers a stirring exhilaration that shakes you to your core.
