It’s an outdoor festival held in the desert region of California’s Coachella Valley, and it’s considered one of the three major rock festivals in the United States. Nowadays, it takes place over two consecutive weekends, running Friday to Sunday each weekend, for a total of six days. Over the years, a wide range of artists—from rock bands to hip-hop performers—have appeared at the festival.
