Formed in New York in 1974, the Ramones are a legendary band that laid the foundation for punk rock.
Though their commercial success was limited, their influence is immeasurable.
Their debut album, Ramones, built the prototype of punk with its short, fast songs.
Over 22 years, they played 2,263 live shows, continually captivating audiences with their energetic performances.
They are characterized by a simple three-chord sound and songs under two minutes.
Their distinctive lyrics—described by critics as “so dumb they’re smart”—are also part of the appeal.

Dani CaliforniaRed Hot Chili Peppers

They’re a band from California, USA, that can be considered pioneers of mixture rock.
Since their 1983 debut, they’ve continued to thrive while undergoing multiple lineup changes.
The song “Dani California” in this video was also used as the theme song for the Japanese film Death Note.
