It is a single released from Panic! At The Disco’s fifth studio album, “Death of a Bachelor.”

Under the California sun, A Static Lullaby began their activities in 2001.

Centered on post-hardcore, they rose to prominence with a “sing-scream” style that intertwines ferocious screams with flowing clean vocals.

They arrived on the scene with “Lipgloss and Letdown” from their 2003 debut album …And Don’t Forget to Breathe.

After moving to a major label, their 2005 album Faso Latido reached No.

129 on the Billboard 200.

Their 2006 self-titled album A Static Lullaby, released after lineup changes, earned praise for its balance of aggression and melody.

Although they once disbanded, they later reunited and continue to make their sound roar.

La Dispute, formed in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2004, build on a post-hardcore foundation while unfolding a multilayered sound that weaves in spoken word, emo, and even hints of jazz and blues.

Their 2008 debut album, Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair, left a vivid mark on the scene with its profound, folklore-inspired poetic worldview.

They went on to craft introspective and dramatic works such as Wildlife, an album that tells stories based on true events, and the acclaimed Rooms of the House, which reflects the members’ lived experiences; the latter was included in Paste’s 50 Best Albums of 2014.

Jordan Dreyer’s vocals—ranging from spoken narration to soul-baring shouts—and the band’s literary lyrics resonate deeply with listeners who seek delicate emotional nuance amid intensity, or who want to immerse themselves in music rich with narrative.

From London, Million Dead blazed through the early-2000s post-hardcore scene.

Blending the raw impulse of hardcore punk with intelligent songwriting, they forged a post-hardcore sound that also carried an emotional edge.

They made a striking debut in 2003 with the single “Smiling At Strangers On Trains,” and their album A Song to Ruin the same year reached No.

14 on the UK Rock Chart.

Among its tracks, “I Am the Party” stands out as the song that etched their name into the scene.

Their music was highly acclaimed, earning a nomination for Best Newcomer at the Kerrang! Awards.

Their sound—fierce yet lyrical—and Frank Turner’s cathartic screams resonate powerfully with music fans of passionate spirit.

A reunion show is slated for 2025.
