[Xenoblade BGM] Masterpieces and Popular Tracks from the Xenoblade Series (21–30)
Prologue AShimomura Yoko / Narita Tsutomu

This is the BGM used in the first half of Xenoblade’s opening cinematic.
It’s crafted with a grand tone that matches the game’s world, so I imagine many listeners felt excited about what kind of journey was about to begin.
The orchestral sound has a powerful, almost Hollywood-like quality.
It’s a track that even people who haven’t played Xenoblade can enjoy.
New Battle!!!Hiramatsu Kenji

An orchestral piece where fiery fighting spirit blazes! Composed by Kenji Hiramatsu, this is the battle-scene BGM from Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed.
Its youthful sound arrangement shines as drums and guitar inject dynamism into the majestic resonance of strings and brass.
Carrying on the lineage of the series’ standard battle themes, its passionate sonic character ramps up the tension! Highly recommended when you want to boost your motivation!

This track is filled with tension.
It’s a heart-pounding piece that makes players think, “Something’s coming up ahead…!!” As it progresses, the music unfolds on an epic scale, with strings adding a dramatic flair.
This kind of thrill is something you can only experience in a game!
Colony 9Shimamura Yōko

It has a somewhat valiant atmosphere.
In the game, you’ve surely made it this far thanks to the encouragement of your companions.
When I imagine that, my chest starts to feel warm, and I want to watch over where this game is headed… It’s that kind of track, isn’t it? Don’t you think it’s a really cool piece? The great thing about games is how the music draws you deeper into both yourself and the story!
hopeKiyota Manami

This song feels like the clouds are clearing to reveal a bright sky.
You can almost imagine light streaming through the breaks in the clouds, right? As it goes on, the way it becomes more rhythmic is wonderfully pleasant to listen to.
Intense game music is cool too, but hearing a gentle track like this is comforting, isn’t it? It feels like coming home.
Awakening of the ColossusKiyota Manami

The majestic sound arrangement is simply overwhelming.
The existence of the Bionis is crucial to Xenoblade’s story.
It has the weight perfectly suited to that scene where the very world—the sort of field map the protagonists have been journeying across—gains a will of its own and begins to move.
You can feel the tension and power from the music itself.
A common thread throughout the Xenoblade series is that everything operates on a grand scale, and this piece is exactly that.
In conclusion
We introduced songs used in Xenoblade.
They ranged from aggressive tracks that feel like quintessential RPG battle themes, to beautiful piano-only pieces, and even grand orchestral arrangements.
If you’ve played Xenoblade, you probably had the scenes where these tracks were used pop into your mind.
Xenoblade has a remake, and in that version the music is recorded with arrangements different from the original.
