Catchy TV Commercial Songs [February 2025] (11–20)
For Whom the Alchemist ExistsMr.Children

This is a commercial from 2004 that makes viewers reflect on global social issues.
In a certain overseas city, Cup Noodles are lined up in a row to mark the boundary with a neighboring area, and people live their lives without crossing that line.
However, toward the end of the commercial, a boy picks up one of the Cup Noodles forming the boundary and breaks the line, and in the climax, he is shown eating Cup Noodles together with a man who had been on the other side.
The background music for the commercial features Mr.Children’s “Tagatame.” With lyrics that prompt us to think about world peace, the song pairs perfectly with the commercial’s narrative.
familieMrs. GREEN APPLE

This is a commercial for the Freed, which underwent a full model change in 2024, promoting its comfortable interior created by a flat floor design all the way to the third row.
The CM features Motoki Omori, the vocalist of Mrs.
GREEN APPLE, which sparked major buzz among fans.
Their song “familie” is also used as the background music.
As the title suggests, the theme centers on family and love, and the car-themed lyrics tailored to the CM are particularly memorable.

In the “Stars” installment of GREEN JUKEBOX, a popular commercial series for Tanrei Green Label, SEKAI NO OWARI’s Fukase appears.
He performs an acoustic, self-accompanied rendition of his hit song Starlight Parade on bass.
With a gentle sound and vocals that are utterly captivating—just as Mikako Tabe seems enchanted—it has a charm that makes you swoon.
Cloud 9SHE’S

This commercial introduces efforts to develop new technologies that will become commonplace in the future, just as the technologies we now take for granted weren’t always so.
The narration—reminding us that the everyday lives we enjoy are supported by technologies that are anything but ordinary—makes us appreciate them anew, doesn’t it? The CM features a mid-tempo track with a strikingly beautiful melody as its BGM.
The song is Cloud 9 by SHE’S, released in 2024.
Its lyrics express gratitude to a precious person—saying that thanks to “you,” my world has expanded.

Rolling DaysWANIMA

This is the in Jelly commercial supporting exam-takers, titled “Turn that nervousness into energy.
Rolling Days.” It unfolds around the theme of nerves: the more serious you are, the more nervous you get—but the message encourages turning that nervousness into strength.
In the second half of the ad, WANIMA’s live footage appears and their song “Rolling Days” plays.
The lyrics carry a message that pushes people to keep moving forward despite their inner struggles, making it a perfect cheer song for students preparing for entrance exams.

IN THE RAINXG

This is a commercial featuring the girl group XG, who are active and based in South Korea.
It presents McDonald’s convenient services—such as mobile ordering, coupons, and McDelivery—through visuals with a sci‑fi vibe.
In addition, the “Real-Time McParty with XG” version introduces Real-Time McParty, a streaming event taking place in February 2025.
The background music uses a remix of their song “IN THE RAIN.” Unlike the remix, the original track has a calm, beautiful atmosphere.
