Catchy Commercial Jingles [March 2025] (51–60)
Distant Street Corner (The Wanderin’ Street)Kuwata Keisuke

This commercial portrays the casual, everyday life of a cohabiting couple and introduces AIRism innerwear as a constant, everyday staple.
It shows them spending time together in a way that looks very happy, and combined with the gentle visuals, it’s a spot that makes viewers feel happy too.
Of course, the BGM also plays a role in enhancing that mood—the song is Keisuke Kuwata’s “Tooi Machikado (The wanderin’ street).” Released in 1988, it was also used in a Fujifilm commercial in the past.
KI SE KIKawamura Ryuuichi

This is a commercial for Modarc, one of the Mirage lineup, released in 1997.
It’s memorable for a scene set in a European-style town where a woman tries to catch a cat hiding under a car.
The commercial featured KI SE KI, the vocalist of LUNA SEA.
It’s a sweet ballad with sensuous vocals that you can recognize at once as Kawamura’s singing.
Ngoma PartyWatanabe Sadao

This is a commercial where a construction worker, who happens to spot Sadao Watanabe riding a Yamaha Towny, can’t help but feel envious.
The way he observes every little detail with envy, and the confident way Watanabe responds, clearly conveys that this is a bike everyone admires.
The music used is Sadao Watanabe’s “Ngoma Party.” Its light, wind-instrument-infused sound is striking, and it perfectly evokes a refreshing, summery atmosphere.
With its structure that lets various instruments take turns in solo spots, the track exudes a joyful vibe.
Deer-Colored DaysPan Megumi, Fujita Saki

This is a commercial that showcases the appeal of GoroGura to a rhythmic track.
It highlights GoroGura’s biggest selling points: the size and abundance of its ingredients.
The song playing in the CM is a parody of “Shika-iro Days,” the theme song of the anime “Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan.” In addition to recreating the dance, the cute original illustrations also leave a strong impression.

Eternal BlueHitsuji Bungaku

This commercial introduces the Action mode featured on the iPhone 14, with a theme centered on students’ youth.
It opens with footage shot while running using an iPhone 14, highlighting how Action mode keeps the video completely steady.
Playing on the idea of zero shake, the tagline “Youth, don’t waver” appears, making your heart swell.
The background music is “Eien no Blue,” a perfect match for the CM’s sense of speed.
Released by Hitsujibungaku in 2023, the song’s lyrics compellingly portray the struggles of adolescence.
Be sure to listen while following along with the lyric sheet.
Love CirculationHanazawa Kana

This spot, which opens with a cute hamster offering you tea, is a commercial for TEA in the Craft Boss world.
In the ad, Hono Tamura from Sakurazaka46 performs a dance to “Ren’ai Circulation,” and toward the end there’s a twist where Tamura transforms into a hamster, who then keeps on dancing—super cute.
The background track “Ren’ai Circulation” is the theme song from the anime Bakemonogatari and one of Kana Hanazawa’s signature songs.
Its whispery vocals make it a charming classic of anime music.
I’ll be by your side.Aoyama Teruma ft. SoulJa

Soba ni Iru ne, Aoyama Thelma’s signature song released in 2008, was created as an answer song to SoulJa’s track Koko ni Iru yo and became a massive hit thanks to its relatable lyrics.
Many people may also remember that the song was featured in a NTT Docomo commercial at the time.
The CM portrayed the feelings of a female student about to enter high school, and those who were going through the same transition likely resonated strongly with it.
Fourteen years later, in 2022, Aoyama Thelma was once again featured in a Docomo commercial celebrating the company’s 30th anniversary, which also drew attention.
