[Part 3] Halloween Crafts Recommended for 2-Year-Olds
When planning event crafts—especially for infant classes—you want to keep the steps to a minimum and make sure the activities are fun and safe.
With that in mind, we’ve gathered plenty of craft ideas perfect for Halloween for two-year-olds.
Prepare in advance the parts that are hard for children to do on their own, and guide the activity so they can feel the accomplishment and satisfaction of “I made it by myself!”
Since the children’s creations are treated as works, we refer to them as “seisaku” (production/craftwork) in the text.

Two-year-olds’ fingertip sensitivity develops, and they start to enjoy creating things through play.
In time for Halloween, it’s a great idea to make cute monsters using construction paper, glue, and round stickers.
By experiencing different paper textures and tearing construction paper into various shapes, they can also nurture their imagination.
Completing a piece lets them feel both the process and the fun of making it.
You can also switch up the paper—like origami or wrapping paper—to keep it enjoyable.
In conclusion
We introduced some Halloween crafts that 2-year-olds can make and enjoy.
They’re all so cute that it might be hard to choose what to make! For parts that are difficult for your child to do alone, please have an adult prepare them in advance or work on them together with your child.
