haniwa

When you have some paper clay, don’t you feel like trying to make a haniwa at least once? Those indescribable expressions and poses are so cute, aren’t they? First, let’s make a base using a toilet paper roll.
Cut one end of the roll into small triangles, gather the cut sections toward the center, and form an arch.
Wrap plastic wrap over that, then cover it with clay.
Next, poke holes in the base to make the eyes and mouth, add both arms, a head ornament, and some patterns, and you’re done.
Once it’s dry, remove the inner roll and the plastic wrap.
Macaron

Let’s make popular macaron sweets out of paper clay.
The tricky part when making them is the macaron shell around the area called the pied, where the cream is sandwiched.
Use the back of a craft knife to score a line all the way around, then take three toothpicks taped together and gently scrape out the texture little by little.
Once you’ve formed the pied nicely, let it dry and later add the cream in between.
It’s even more fun if you make them in various colors.
After making one or two, you’ll get the hang of it and feel like you could make them in large quantities.
Give it a try!
donut

Let’s make colorful and cute donuts! First, knead the clay, then tear off small pieces and roll them into balls.
Once rolled, add your favorite color of acrylic paint and knead it in to dye the clay.
After coloring, roll each piece into a ball again, then stretch it into a long rope and shape it into a ring like a donut to finish! If you add ridges to the donut shape, it becomes a French cruller! Also, if you divide a rolled ball of clay into about six smaller pieces and roll each into tiny balls, then combine them, you can make a shape like a Pon de Ring.
Accessory tray

Create a stylish vibe! Here are some accessory tray ideas.
These days, all kinds of accessory trays are available, but many people struggle to find the exact size, texture, or design they want.
This time, let’s design our own and make an accessory tray just the way we like it.
One of the best parts of handmade items is that you can fine-tune the texture and color to your tastes.
This idea is especially recommended for those who want a cohesive look in their interior décor!
pen holder

Have you ever made a pen holder as a summer vacation craft? Let’s rekindle that nostalgic memory and take this opportunity to make one again.
Create the base from a milk carton and cover the outside with paper clay.
Then decorate it however you like and let it dry—that’s it! For decorations, try parts made from colored paper clay, marbles, beads, and so on.
If you don’t have colored clay, you can tint white paper clay by mixing in some paint.
Miniature house

Let’s try making a house in your favorite shape! Here are some miniature house ideas.
These are perfect for anyone who wants a small decoration for their home.
Since the house shape is up to you, how about arranging it as you like—such as a two-story house, a house with big windows, or one with patterns on the roof? It’s cute as is, but adding color will make it feel even more special.
Have fun creating your ideal home or a house like the ones that appear in picture books!
magnet
You can make lots of cute magnets with paper clay.
In this example, a favorite character is placed inside a Tamagotchi, but feel free to create any colors and shapes you like.
For drawings and decorations, applying a gel nail top coat and curing it with a UV/LED lamp works well.
You can also try using a non-curing (regular) nail polish top coat.
Stick them on your refrigerator, desk, or a steel bookcase and have fun!
